This food was amazing! It wasn't until after we were done eating that we remembered that we had eaten at their food truck at Downtown Disney a year or more earlier. The flavors are unusual and delicious. This place is totally worth it. Great options, great food, friendly service. We will definitely be back. Only some of the food we ate is pictured because we ate it before we remembered to take pictures!

Since I was underwhelmed by my first visit, it took me two years and my wife's urging before I agreed to give them another try, and I was once again disappointed by their food. The menu makes their food seem appetizing, but the actual food does not live up to the hype. The OG dumplings and the chilly oil wantons share the exact same filling, when traditionally the wanton filling calls for some shrimp. It would be forgivable if the filling is good, but it's dry and has an excess of ginger. The dipping sauce lacked garlic and sesame oil, two critical ingredients in an authentic dumpling sauce. The rice bowls are inexpensive, but the taste also left me wanting. The rice was overcooked and dry, and the pork belly was too lean and the sauce had too much teriyaki. The customers order and pay at the counter before the food is served. The ambiance and the decor were nice, and the staff was super welcoming and helpful. This made me feel bad for writing a bad review, but I came here for the food.

If you're looking for a great lunch for great value, check out the combo deal at this modern dumpling spot! For under $15, I got a half order of the Spicy Fried Chicken Dumplings and a half order of Chinese Sausage Fried Rice, plus a yummy cucumber salad on the side. The menu is unique and a modern twist on more traditional dumplings. For example, they have longanisa chili oil wonton! They also have Asian-style fries topped with bulgogi, which look delicious! The spicy fried chicken dumplings were packed with spicy-flavor that I loved. The fried rice was gorgeous and fluffy. The cucumber salad has a good spicy kick to it- topped with peanut sauce. The vibe of the place is modern, stylish and fun- and I loved the friendly staff If you're after tasty food at a killer price, this combo deal is great!

I first heard about this place when my coworker shared some leftover pork and chive dumplings with me, and even though they were from the night before, they were crispy and delicious. I was so impressed that I decided to place my own order today. I ordered the pork and chive dumplings, longanisa dumplings (both pan-fried), and the braised pork belly over white rice. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. The longanisa dumpling wrapper was soft and falling apart, which was disappointing, though the flavor was decent. The pork and chive dumplings lacked the crispy texture I had enjoyed from my coworker's leftovers (I also want to add that he had microwaved it and it wasn't put into an air fryer to reheat). The braised pork belly rice dish was another letdown. The pork was lean and not fatty like I had expected it to be. I only sampled a bit since I was already full, but my coworker ended up loving it when I gave it away. Overall, I'm not sure I'd go back for the pork belly rice dish. While some elements were fine, they didn't live up to the initial hype or the leftover dumpling experience that drew me in.

Came in to celebrate national dumpling day. There was 1 guy seated inside eating, so it wasn't busy. We ended up getting 3 things to try and share. -The Longanisa dumplings. Pan fried. Best of the 3-Chili oil wontons. Second best. Very citrusy. Not spicy at all-The fried chicken. Very not normal. Not my cup of teaI wasn't too much of a fan of this place, but it was worth a shot. I would only get the Longanisa dumplings again.

First time visiting this place! Customer service was great. Greeted immediately upon arrival and the guy walked me through the menu and gave me recommendations. Always love that! My favorite thing on the menu is the corn which is hands down the best I've ever had!!!! No other restaurant or street vendor can touch this corn. I mixed in the rice with it and it made it even better. On the combo I got the beef bulgogi and longanisa dumpling. The beef had a great taste, but the rice to beef ratio was off. Too much rice and not enough meat. The flavors were great in the beef. In terms of the dumplings, I feel like that was the most underwhelming and lacked flavor. I did try to get some chili sauce and put on there, but the chili sauce had no flavor and no heat. Food was hot in temperature which I love.Price of everything was reasonable, but definitely need to look at the rationing of meat because that's really what you're paying for. Overall, I will definitely be back to try a few more things and get the corn.

Part of a small chain that started out as a food truck, Mad Dumplings has two brick-and-mortar locations. We went to the one in Long Beach (other being in Irvine). Solid dumplings and sides with friendly service, but smaller servings at higher prices, so the value wasn't great. We have been on a dumpling kick lately, so when my wife saw Mad Dumplings on social, we decided to give it a try for carry-out and take it to our favorite beach in the OC for lunch. Plus I like the name: living near Madison, WI, there were A LOT of businesses named 'Mad' this and 'Mad' that...the name brings back fond memories. There is decent parking since the building that it is in, shares a big common parking lot with the nearby Target. You choose, order, and pay (including asked tip), and then wait for your food to be prepared. We found a seat to wait, and they brought the food and drink out to us in about 10 minutes. It had been packaged very well. We ordered 4 things: 10 piece OG pan-fried ($12.95); 10 piece longanisa pan fried ($12.95); Shrimp fried rice ($14.95); Lychee limeade 32oz ($8)...so almost $60 total. For me, I liked the OG dumpling, didn't care for the longganisa (it's a sweet sausage), my wife didn't like either much (she doesn't like sausage, and the fillings in each dumpling are like tightly packed sausages). The dipping sauces were OK. I thought the fried rice was good, had that smoky flavor from wok fired preparation...there just wasn't very much of it. The lychee limeade was different: it was our first time experiencing it so didn't know what to expect. The first sips were extremely sugary, later we realized that we should have mixed it a lot first...the syrup had settled at the bottom: the first sips were super strong, and the remaining was rather weak. I did love the whole lychees...makes me miss those at a Chinese buffet that had those that I would take advantage of.I'm glad that we tried Mad Dumplings, and I completely understand why it is so popular. Just not for us, based on our preferences to travel a little to go to SGV or Little Saigon.

This place has super unprofessional hiring practices. My sister was employed her for several hours and never recieved payment for the hours she worked. She will be filing a complaint for unpaid wages and we'll be contacting the department of labor. YOU GUYS SHOULD PAY YOUR EMPLOYEES.
