The last addition to Steelcraft I finally discovered, tucked away in small space that opens on to Long Beach Blvd, is Lovesome Chocolates. The owner Nicole makes hand crafted, artisanal chocolates: dark chocolate bark, candy cups, bon-bons & truffles. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/lovesome-chocolates-long-beach?select=ZFrcE3u24_SXJGeSus_9HAI stopped by the Steelcraft compound for grand opening weekend and the place was really hopping! Lovesome Chocolates was also open and sharing samples of her dark chocolate bark, which included spicy, salty, savory, sweet and floral flavors. I tried a few and all were delicious. Cayenne caramel (a little heat in the back of the throat), pecan caramel and mint chocolate almond, but my favorite was the sea salt blueberry, YUM!https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/lovesome-chocolates-long-beach?select=VEzThsBXNfve7bvsSCp9Qghttps://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/lovesome-chocolates-long-beach?select=A_7LADrpGHu4XgeX1fhn0QThe bark is available in two nicely packaged tins, 2 oz ($8) and 4 oz ($15).https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/lovesome-chocolates-long-beach?select=CzZRdQxFshFO0sfqM4SuZAThe hours of this "pop-up" location are limited and is closed on Monday and Wednesday.https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/lovesome-chocolates-long-beach?select=zzrubvk0VT97awDrzWHCiQA local Long Beach business that makes hand crafted artisanal chocolates, which can be purchased at this "pop-up" or her website. I look forward to trying more of Nicole's yummy chocolates!

I rarely eat chocolate, but I had just gotten off of work and wouldn't you know, it's also that time of the month! Saw this place open for the first time since I've been frequenting the brewery for a month or so. Normally when I see/hear the words "artisinal" and "hand crafted" together with food it kind of makes me want to laugh and cringe (at the same time). But I dove in and sampled some chocolates regardless. And I left $8 less in my pocket and a nice tin of bangin' semi-sweet chocolate with a hint of lavender and a dusting of sugar -- no flavor too overpowering or weak. Seriously, I just got out of 10 hours of cooking for others. I only wanted a beer and to not stab someone with a tainted paring knife. But this chocolate? It's friggin good!!! Buy this chocolate. You'll thank the recommendation later.

So good! I had already purchased my wife her valentines gifts but happened to be picking up a coffee next door and decided to taste one of the chocolates (one of the chai ones) and wow! It was amazing. Wife loved it. Highly recommend it.
