Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken

First time ordering at this location for a Christmas party ,services was fast and chicken was fresh and good

This is the best Louisiana fried chicken location in my opinion. The fried chicken is seasoned really well and is always made fresh to order. The skin is so crispy and the meat is very juicy. I like to get the chicken breast and tenders. I also like the fries here. It is crispy, delicious and has cajun seasoning. The prices are reasonable too. They have party sizes, which is great and affordable for parties/potlucks. They also serve fried fish, shrimp and sandwiches/burgers. Other than the fried chicken and fries,, I've only tried their fried shrimp, which was also good. If you order at the restaurant, you'll wait about 15-20 minutes for fried chicken, so I suggest calling in your order to avoid the wait.

Local spot in the neighborhood to pick up something good when I don't feel like cooking or just have a craving for some fried fish and shrimp. Breading is well seasoned with a mild kick and not overly breaded. I know many people come for the chicken, but I like their fried fish and shrimp. They can get busy at times, but when you order, they usually tell you how long the wait can be. There are seats and tables to eat outdoors, but I usually just take my order home. You can also order ahead by phone to speed up the process of waiting when you get there.

I have to say, was so convenient and surprised to be able to order fried chicken at approx 9am during my lunch break and they was taking order on the phone so when you arrived, it will be ready. Loved it, life saver. Im a huge fan of fried chicken. I will literally stop by any place I see serving fried chicken just to try them out. The bonus part, they served donuts and coffee for the morning risers. Their prices are fair to the other locals. Selection is amazing, with a display right in front. They have outdoor/indoor sitting if you just want to sit and enjoy some hot, freshly made donuts . Delicious and soft, yummy . Breakfast Sandwich are freshly made while you wait. You can't go wrong with any sandwich requests. They're all satisfying to the taste

Stopped by for a late lunch earlier this week thanks to a recommendation from a local friend and I was impressed with how good the chicken was!Fresh fried chicken is always delicious and I decided to get their chicken strips after looking over their menu. They fry their chicken to order so it takes some time but nothing beats hot fried chicken right out of the fryer! There's plenty of seating inside the restaurant and it was a little busy since I came during lunch time. Portion size is pretty good for the price you pay here! The chicken strips were crispy on the outside with the skin having good flavor and the chicken was moist and not dry on the inside. You get a good amount of fries and a roll on the side as well! They also serve other items like breakfast sandwiches and chili cheese fries if you want something else but their main specialty is fried chicken or fish!Will definitely come back soon to try their fried fish and shrimp!

Hands down the best fried chicken in Long Beach :) I went to this place as a last resort before Christmas Eve because I'm running out of options what food to bring for my fam bam. I stumbled upon this place on Yelp and saw great reviews.. and most importantly they're open around that time.. what a clutch savior moment. The ambiance feels Long Beach.. fancy and ghetto in the same time haha. The servers have good customer service and accommodated me which is awesome :) Anyway I ordered 30 pieces of their fried chicken for my big fam waiting at my parent's place. Their fried chicken is so crispy and moist from the inside in every bite. Thinking about it makes me crave it more. Just wow! These are the kind of fried chicken I experienced in New Orleans and south. Their hot sauce is the staple cause mann no doubt it complimented with the fried chicken.. I ended up eating 12/30 pieces of fried goodness haha. Overall, I discovered a new spot and definitely a recommendation to all fried chicken lovers in the LBC :)

Food is good here, but my review is about their service. I ordered my 60 piece 2 days before Thanksgiving. I spoke with ADRIAN and he took my order and told me that I can pay in cash on pick up or over the phone. I said I'll pay on pick up at 11:30. He took my name and ph# and verified I will pay on pick up. Mind you....we've paid on pick up for many years. Well, Here I am! On time and guess what...they did NOT fulfill my order!!!! The lady said they always take payment over the phone with big orders. I said I was NOT told this otherwise I would have done so. My name and ph# was even given and you never bothered to inform me this for 2 days!! An order this big!! It is standard practice when it comes to big orders to check the day before to make sure you have enough for the next day. So now they're trying to get a hold of Adrian (like that's going to make my order ready now). My partner said he doesn't want to go to his family gathering now because he doesn't want to show up empty handed. F**k. So now I ordered it and paid cash and currently waiting 30 mins for this. There were NO APOLOGIES. You guys messed up...APOLOGIZE!My partner said I should call to make sure it's ready and then he said nevermind. Lesson learned at this place: ALWAYS DO A FOLLOW UP CALL. They're not interested in better business practices. Just fry and go. Below is the proof that I called to place my order 2 days prior.

Food is good however they DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE ever to Oder in advice . Honestly they probably would get more business if they did . You have to wait literally your entire work break for your food . No matter what you order . It always takes a long time , no matter the time of the day either . I live near and the area is too unsafe to be waiting for long periods of time . Make it convenient for your customers and ANSWER THE PHONE

One of the best fried chicken I ever had...... as a chicken review expert I'm going to have to say Louisiana Famous and pollo comperos are tied for best fried chicken. ( they both different however)
