Louisiana Charlie's Mother's Beach

The food and the team was top notch! I wasn't able to take it all in as I was m a tight schedule, but cant wait to go back! Loved it The seating and ordering system could be more efficient, but service was wonderful!

We had an amazing lunch today at Louisiana Charlie's. Excellent food, amazing service, and a beautiful view of the Marina. We can't wait to go back.

Food excellent! Setup and staff needs work. We came on a Sunday and was never greeted to come inside by staff. First timers so we weren't aware you had to order food and drinks before you're seated. This is not something I ever like to experience. After being seated food came out fast. Large portions definitely had left overs peach cobbler isn't something I recommend. Tasted "warmed up" not fresh not a taste of homemade.

I had the gumbo and it was very, very salty. Could not eat it.Service was OK. I can understand why they take their money upfront when you order.

This is a great find at Mother's Beach LBC. Can't believe we've been there so many times and never noticed. There were quite a few of us so we tried a smattering of different things. The souther food, fried catfish, rice and beans were spot on. They ran out of burnt ends which was disappointing. Their hotdogs were good (not the generic Hebrew or Costco either). The slight downside was a fairly basic burger and their Mac n Cheese was too fancy for the kids. Overall, once you park you don't wanna leave this beach. Having this eatery here with good food is awesome!

Stumbled upon this balance while the kids were playing at the Mother's Beach playground. Had no clue it was here. Big menu, lot's of variety. Give it a try!

EXCELLENT!!. I had Gumbo Fries which was full of chicken, shrimp and sausage and the file/sauce was Flavorful and was soo good. My Friend had the Catfish basket which was cooked to perfection and cobbler. We/I will definitely be back. Great location for family and alone time. Most of all the service was WONDERFUL and everyone including the cook/chef made us feel Welcomed and took the time to talk to us and made sure we were satisfied. Do yourself a favor and try it yourself.

The ambiance was great love to sit and look at the water. Through back from my Navy days. What can I say the service. The waiters only seat you and are bring your food after you order at the door before you are seated. I have only had this happen with a buffet style restaurant. I had the Po' boy fried fish sandwich. The fish was prepared the way I like crispy. The only thing I did care for was the bread (bun) it was like a hotdog bun. I also had the fresh squeezed lemonade which I didn't care for it tasted watered down and the also charge for refills. Overall the experience was ok. Will I go back maybe.

We have a beach house right across the street and were thrilled when this place occupied the stand on Mother's Beach. We were even more thrilled when we first got carry out here...a terrific menu featuring a variety of delicious soul food. We've carried out and eaten at their tables on the water and always been super happy with the great food.
