Best time to come and enjoy the wonderful food is after 5pm when the man is there. The lady that cooks and serve before that time has a stank ass attitude. Looks lazy and looks like she doesn't like her job. Poor customer service and charge for every little items... like extra salsa. Last time I will ever come in and buy food during the day time.

Los Potros is a small hole in the wall Mexican place to get delicious burritos, tacos, nachos, and aguachile. At least these are the things I enjoy to order. This restaurant is also a bar/dance nightclub that I've actually never been in. Where normal people order is from a small window on the side of the restaurant when ordering to go. There is outside seating by this window if you decide to eat there after you order. One guy in particular who is usually working is great at toppling a ton of meat on your food. I normally order tacos if I'm not too hungry but their burritos are so big, fat, and juicy. I literally crave their burritos. I normally get a carne asada burrito with easy rice, lots of onions, cilantro, salsa, easy cheese (if I want to deal with my poor lactose intolerance, if not; then no cheese) with no beans. It's just like tacos stuffed into a burrito. So good! Their aguachile is really good as well. It's raw shrimp that gets cooked in lime/lemon juice with cucumbers and onions and jalapeños which ends up really spicy served with tortilla chips. This place is actually across the street from where I live and they are open late every night for those late night cravings. I just walk across the street and order. This place is a CASH ONLY PLACE! So make sure you got the cash if you got the craving.

Probably the biggest burritos in LBC and open late. It's your standard taqueria kinda menu. Burritos are $8 and includes chips, salsa, peppers/carrots/lime. The carnitas is bomb.People crying about the service should go to a fancier sit down place, not a taqueria connected to a bar lol. What do you expect at 2am?

Later in the day there is a man who works as the cook/cashier at the window. He makes the BEST burritos. [No shade to the Senorita who shells out meals with love] There are at least 3 "Mexican food" spots by my house, but I will drive all the way down PCH to get an asada burrito here. I get it with everything: rice, beans, jack cheese, cilantro, & cebolla. Sometimes a bit of the meat is tough, but the flavors in this food are addictive. They also have the BEST pickled carrots too--- I don't know what we call this but I call it the Mexican curtido (not accurate in the least; my grandma just calls it jalapeños).

Fellas night out at Long Beach! After some good times at a dive bar we were in the mood for some authentic Long Beach food. On our way we say this huge bright sign. After looking at its reviews, this was the winner. Came here and saw this place was poppin. Fortunately there was a to go window where we were able to order without the craziness.Ambiance: * Parking | Parking is pretty tight at night. Since it is kind of like a club and has private events. When in doubt, there is street parking and a small plaza to park at as well.* Seating | Seating outside is generally for groups and can seat about 15-20 people. Shading is provided!* Feels | Not in the richest area of Long Beach. This is a restaurant/bar/to go eatery. Parking was chaotic as it was completely full. There was a bouncer at the door and informed us about the to-go window. As we were waiting we were just listening to the sounds of people having a great time as live spanish music and reggaetone was playing literally back and forth.Food:* Carne Asada Burrito- Huge, oily, and delicious. There was something about the meat that was exceptional. The seasoning was good and the fact that it had a crumbling-esque feel. The mild oil was bad yet so good! Another plus was their plentiful salsa, pickled carrots , and jalepenos.Customer Service:* Service could have been better. Our order came at a fair time but I got irritated repeating myself but maybe it was the noise.Overall: * 3.5 stars. I am not rounding up to the star because I want them to be motivated to work and step up their game. Coming in I had higher expectations. Previous reviews claimed a 4 dollar burrito, mines was 8 dollars. I was excited about fried peppers....they didn't have any. The food was delicious but no horchata. However I am glad this is a late night joint, if you don't want your night to end just yet, they have festivities going on if you want to join. I definitely would recommend this place to others but I do hope they will continue to improve their services...that would be AWESOME.Advice:* Speak up. It gets pretty loud.* They charge extra for sour cream (50 cents).

I felt a bit misled by the ratings because I expected a lot more for a 4 star rating place. But it's more of a 2.5-3 star.It has nothing to do with the location. Some people say it seems sketchy. We went to the to-go side at night and it wasn't so bad.I felt like taste wise, I've definitely had better and it didn't seem like 4 stars. It's pretty greasy and sloppy. The nachos were soggy and toppings seem to be lacking a bit in taste. The seasoning of the carne asada was good. Nothing stood out. Seems basic. The time it takes them to notice you at the window is slow. However, the cooking time is pretty fast. I think it's okay for anyone local to eat because it's open late, a lot of meat is given, and seems convenient. However, it's definitely not 4 stars in terms of the best tacos you can get. It's nothing special. Definitely have had better. I don't feel a need to return.

My family has been getting the wet burritos and burritos here for as long as I can remember. We used to do laundry next door and we would always order from the outside window. I just got the opportunity to ask what the big guys name is! And I'm so happy he still works there! His name is MEMO. Like you may have read from other reviews, he is the person you want to be ordering from. No shade to the women there but memo really packs everything up for you and makes sure you aren't missing anything at all, when he says "Everything???" He makes sure everything. This place is soo bomb, I told him we've been eating here since I was a baby. He said they opened 1995, i was born in 1996. We no longer frequent that laundrymat so I haven't eaten there in a while til tonight. I'm now 22 with a baby on the way and I've been craving wet burritos and nostalgically thought of this place. NO OTHER WET BURRITOS COMPARE TO LOS POTROS MADE BY MEMO. Periodt. The prices has gone up but so has everything else in California. I always make sure to tip this guy to know he's appreciated ( I don't think most people tip when ordering from the window ) Anyways, portions are big, they do not skimp, and everything taste even better warmed up the next day. Thank you. This place will always be a gem and is worth it

This place is open late night and serves huge delicious burritos . I literally have to eat it in 2 different sitting. The cook is a very nice guy sometimes he gives me free candy with my order. This place has no dining in but has tables in the front of the restaurant.

Went inside the restaurant to buy two drinks after ordering from Mariscos el garage and the waiter Ana charged my card on her cellphone instead of a register which I thought was odd. Secondly, when I checked my bank account she charged the card a dollar extra than what she originally had told me the price was. I tried calling the restaurant but the number is out of service. Be careful getting drinks here, it's only a dollar but i wonder how many other people she's done this too!
