This is one of the BEST carnitas spot in Los Angeles county. No joke. My bf is a carnitas connoisseur and this place has never failed us. The chicharrón, carnitas, rice, and beans are always on point. Cooked to perfection. I'm a hard critic so take my word when I say this place is BOMB.Cost is unbelievable.Customer service is great!

Beware. The female clerks that take orders and tend the register have overcharged me twice - 3/23/34 and 3/26/24. When asked why the price difference, they either feign knowledge, and ine they just round the total to the nearest dollar or the other said they have no change. For example, a half pound of carnitas or asada is $6.50 ($13/pound); well they'll charge you $7. TWICE - today and last Saturday. There is no post for a $7 charge. On top of their deceptive over charging practice, both females are rude. Today at noon, I asked if they had beans on weekdays (I usually visit weekends) and the female cashier had to ask the male cooks if they had beans. Never mind she's sitting directly in front of the pot in the stove and it was lunch hour (had already been open since 8am) when I'm almost positive I was not the first customer. It's a shame bc they're a small business and their meats (except the asada that's usually overdone) are pretty good. If this happens again, I will report to BBB and the appropriate administrative agency. If prices have changed, then post them! If cash only business, then have change! If the owner would like to explain or respond, please do so.

Service needs a lot of work. I made an order for my family that I dropped off without checking since it was a pretty small order. When I asked them a day later how they liked it, I came to find out half the order was missing. I called the place two days later to ask if I could have my sister pick up the rest of the order since I paid $32 for basically one pound of food and tortillas, and the lady who picked up said she doesn't know anything about the weekend staff. The only reason I'm giving any stars is because the food wasn't the worst (not the best - El Toro Carnicería in Santa Ana is hands down the best) and because I didn't realize part of the order was missing initially, so I guess that was my bad for not doing their job. But I'm pissed they messed up my parents' weekend lunch and won't accommodate. The place itself looks messy, but it's not a sit down restaurant so I don't think that's too relevant.

Just came from there . Food is to go only . Service is terrible the girl taking the cash is rude . I ask for 2 pound of mix carnitas . They gave me carnitas like a day or 2 days old .

Did they change owners? Now they have the Worst service ever! The lady in the front with the really long eyelashes was soooo rude. She did not want to be there. Food was not good either. They even forgot to give us the tortillas. I'm so disappointed, this use to be such a good spot to eat

First time here and tried the carnitas, asada tacos and carnitas burritos. Very good and good price!!! Met the owner Ricky cool dude. If you haven't tried them, I definitely recommend it !!! Also the sauce is Just the way I like it...

I stopped at this neighborhood Carnitas spot and was not satisfied. The inside is dingy and dirty, so grossed. The Carnitas are not the best, very bland! The outside of the Location is very decayed, water leaks everywhere... Dept of Health will be visiting this establishment soon!

Best tacos de carnitas ever !! Don Enrique is an amazing person he's the owner he puts the best carnitas around LA they worth the drive and also the salsa roja is so spicy and delicious

I spend like 40Dl and Ask for salsa and onions cilantros 2 times and they told me are in the bag and not I ask 2 times and not no true why why they always look mád and with no energy and plus i put tips
