Los Angeles Crepe Catering

Used this catering service this past weekend for my sister's bridal shower event. The crepe server was very kind and calm throughout service even though my thousands of aunties wanted to try all the crepes on the menu lol. We chose 3 options, creamy chicken cilantro, portobello mushroom with ricotta and spinach and hazel berry (Nutella banana and strawberry) our total for 25 people for 2 hours was $362 plus tip. He was on time and set up quickly. The crepes themselves were pretty good. I would say the chicken was a bit dry and cold though. It was like biting through a hot fresh crepe with a cold chicken center. That was unappealing to me but my guests did not complain. Overall it was a good experience. I will note that communication prior to the event was lacking. I got no confirmation communication prior to the event. I messaged on Instagram, texted and could not leave a voicemail on their line as the mailbox was full. I tried to call an hour before to see what time they were planning to come but I could not reach anyone and no one contacted me that week prior to assure me. For an event that's solely banking on one service to feed their event it was definitely giving me hardcore anxiety. I would say they need a better system to make sure proper communication is made with the customer. Even upon giving the deposit and I got no receipt or no response that deposit was received and my event was confirmed. It made me a bit upset but hopefully this review helps give them insight into the customer's wants and needs.

In short: DONT USE THEM. STAY AWAY. PLEASE HEED THE WARNING. Now for the details:I had their catering service for 12/12/31 for my party and it's safe to say that they were the only rotten eggs of the party. When we had our initial conversation, the responder stated "ALL YOU CAN EAT crepes for 2 hours!!" Now, isn't that exciting? Sometimes, it's too good to be true. Like this case. I book for three entrees to be served for two hours for 17 guests. Came out to be $195 before tax and tip. I made my $30 deposit that is considered toward the total. Awesome. ~1pm: the workers came and set up as stated on the contract. 1:30pm: I asked if the food was ready to be served. The workers said a couple of more minutes. Ok, sure, no problem. ~1:38pm: the food is served. The guests are excited. 2:36pm: one of my guests comes over and tells me they ran out of batter. What? Ok but since it's only been an hour, maybe we can just stop the service and shave off the rate. Sometime later: the worker talked to the boss, who then wanted to speak w me. She said no discount because 1. My guests ate too much2. She sent more than enough batter for 25 guests 3. There was only 30 mins left for the service anywayI was dumbfounded. Even if my guests ate excessively (which they didn't), why would it matter when it's UNLIMITED? And it's a lie that they served for 1.5 hours. They had a whole hour left that I am paying for.I didn't want to be upset and we agreed to the term of shaving off the tax and travel fee. Fine. But the moment I agreed to $195, she hung up on me. Very rude.Honestly, the food was decent and the servers were nice but everything else absolutely sucked. If you want to avoid being upset and dealing with bullshit during your event, AVOID AT ALL COST. I'd rather eat mediocre food than deal with this atrocity again.

If I could leave 0 stars i would. DONOT and i mean DO NOT send these people a deposit because they will keep it. I don't know why i didn't read the reviews before but i sent them a deposit and they didn't even have the courtesy to call me back or text me let alone email me the day of my event. They didn't show up and left all my guest hanging after telling everyone i hired a crepe company which to my embarrassment didn't show up. Worst communication ever and should of know how horrible the booking process was. I should of seen the flags and read all the reviews before booking them. Till this day they have not returned my text , call or email BEWAREEEEEEE!!!!!!?? Don't ruin your event by trusting these people.

please do not hire this person she will only take your deposit and not show up to your event! very unprofessional. called her multiple times the day of my event no answer, no reply what a piece of s/?'& person. por favor no sea una víctima mas de esta persona sin escrúpulo. la contratamos para fiesta de mi hijo a la cual esperábamos 100 personas y querer deiletarlos con unas sabrosas crepas era el plan. no pudo ser así ya que esta persona con zero professionalismo y escrúpulo optó por no llegar a mi evento después de llenar una forma con información personal y un depósito de $100 !!!

SCAM!!!! I booked this "company" to cater a baby shower and sent in a deposit. They NEVER SHOWED UP! They blocked us all day and cut off communication with us. We tried email, text and call. They left us with no food at the event! We will be filing a police report against them for theft. We will also be Filing a fraud claim against them. It's unacceptable. The least they could do is return our money and get in contact with us. But they didn't..

0 stars! I reserved and paid a deposit over a month ago for my baby shower today. I received a confirmation that stated the time, place, and service that would be provided, but no one showed up!!!! I was left with no food at my baby shower!!! No one ever returned my texts, calls, or emails!!!! Please refund my money back!!! This place was very unprofessional, with the worst customer service!!!! They did not even give me a courtesy call to let me know they would be canceling and not be showing up. It was such a horrible experience to not have what I had planned for at my baby shower. You caused unnecessary stress that could have been easily avoided with a call. I did not have a back up plan because I was really looking forward to crepes. Thanks a lot for making what should have been my special day extremely stressful!!!!!!!!!!

I hired Los Angeles Crepes for a my wife's birthday mimosa party last weekend and let me tell you these come second to none! So delicious. My personal favorite was the Berries and Nutella so bomb!. Customer service was also great the staff was super friendly and not shy at all with the toppings lol I love me some extra Nutella! Everyone loved it I will definitely hire again. I used crepe catering service for a galentines party and loved it. They showed up early, were professional and so friendly. Everyone loved the crepes and salad and the prices were the most reasonable I found. Will definitely use again.

0 stars if I could! My family hired them for their event. Paid a deposit (which they kept)! Then blocked them the day of the event and did not show up. An event that should have been so special was ruined.

They were hired by my family member. They revived a deposit and NEVER showed up! No phone call no nothing. To make matter worse they blocked her, when she kept calling them. Stay away!
