On my regular Wednesday food trip with my girl friend, we both craved for some decent Mexican food, found this high reviewed food place on Yelp and decided to give it try. The photos look so appealing and temping already. Traffic was not bad at all driving from SGV close to noon time on a weekday. Aware of the parking in LA is an issue, we planned ahead and parked in the nearby Smart& Final shopping lot with 3 minutes walking distance. Problem solved easily. They have variety of food items on the menu with reasonable pricing. The chicken on the grillers smelled so good so we decided to try the 2pc chicken plate and Asada burrito. The food was freshly made right in front of you and that is satisfying and the same time challenging your patience because they look too delicious!!!! There is a small outdoor dinning table on the table but it was full so we went back to our car to enjoy the feast. OMG....We probably repeated that word numerus times when we were eating the food. Every bite on the chicken tasting like heaven, nicely grilled chicken skin on the outside, chicken itself is moist, flavorful, tender and not dry. Their salsa and spicy avocado sauce are a must-try to the chicken. My girl friend told me this is the BEST Asada burrito she's ever had, rich in flavors/texture, the rice is perfectly cooked, the tortilla is double grilled before serving. Everything about the burrito is on point. Can't find anything negative about it. Street food always talks to me but THIS one makes me fall in love with. Highly recommended people in LA or not!!

My brother and I were running some errands in the area, and happened to see a large crowd of people waiting in line to order some food. We were feeling kind of hungry, so we just decided to pop in!Parking was a bit of a mission, but we decided to chance it, and parked in the plaza they are situated in front of. We figure we could watch the car should anything happen. But if you're lucky, meters and street parking are available in the neighborhood! They had a variety of delicious options on their menu, and the tacos looked really good. But I wanted to eat healthier, so we went for the 2 piece chicken plate. It was fun to watch the Chef cooking up the deliciously marinated chicken. I could smell the spices and feel myself salivating at the thought of eating such juicy pieces of chicken!I also liked the fact that even though it's street food, they had a small little seating area for guests. The chicken was really yummy, I recommend the dark meat for sure! Try their salsas for some added flavor. Since the plate comes with tortillas, you can even make little mini tacos if you're up to it! Cute little stand, lovely people and amazing food! Will try their tacos next time!

I actually ran into him one day on my way to pick up another food order from a nearby restaurant, I was walking down the street and I could smell the bbq cooking which stopped me in my tracks, however that day I had to pick up my food order since it was waiting for me, but when I came back the next day I was ready to go and Lo and behold they turned me into a super fan! This is L.A. street food at its finest. I love his concept with the chicken plates he does! The careful preparation really shows when you bite into it the flavor and taste is absolutely delicious. It's a distinct flavor to it that you will remember. Nothing is over saturated with salt either it's just pure flavor. But besides that his burritos are fantastic, the quesadillas are bomb, and Aqua Fresca drinks are refreshing. I hope to see his restaurant take off because he's really got something special going on here. Him and his wife are very nice people and they both participate in crafting up these recipes and serving up some good food. I always talk to them when I show up since Im out in this area pretty often. Take a drive out here when you can and be on the lookout for Loritos Grill. I'm telling you once you try his food you'll get hooked. You'll see.

Wow! I didn't know what to expect when I saw this little tent set up with their chicken plates. Everything is made homemade. Their chicken is marinated 48 hours in deliciously mouthwatering Central American homemade recipe. Their chicken plate comes with corn tortillas, your choice of rice or beans but I opted for double the rice and did not expect their rice to be so different or taste so good. They use a Central American recipe that's not regular Spanish rice but more like a rice pilaf that elevates the flavor and plate. The owners are so nice and kind it's honestly fun to be able to sit and talk with them about how they started during the pandemic and how they both have a background in the food industry thus leading us to their delicious homemade special take on Central American food. Highly recommend trying this place out! $10 for a filling 2-piece chicken plate loaded with insane flavors and homemade sauces (the green one is my favorite and gives a little extra kick). You won't find chicken this flavorful anywhere else!

Word on the street is that Lorito's Grill is literally on fire as they grill the meats in the corner of Western Ave & Barton Ave in LA! You can smell the delicious bbq from blocks away, I had to stop by to check out this place. I got their chicken plate and their huge chile relleno burrito. Both was really delicious and flavorful! And yes, this was my first time taking a food selfie in a parking lot. People were staring at me, but I didn't care. They were just jealous of my food~

OMG best find and absolutely love the background of how Loritos Grill came about. Chefs Kevin & Shirley are truly the sweetest and make the most delicious plates. Run, don't walk to check them out. Especially nowadays, it's doubly satisfying to help out small businesses and can't wait to see them thrive and grow. Currently the pop up is Tuesday thru Saturday @9am-3pm and sometimes also Sundays and Mondays. They're also at the local night market. Best to follow them on IG where they post updated schedule. Between hubs and I, we demolished the Al Pastor Chili Relleno & 2-piece chicken plate. Gotta say, charcoal grilling can't be beat. Big flavors. Go eat some and you'll be smiling big all day long! -00-

Their grilled chicken is really good, so flavorful and grilled to perfection. The green sauce is a great topping. Their chicken is so flavorful you don't need the sauce. However, I put it on my chicken taco just to try and I loved it. Overall their food is good and the passion fruit drink is my fav. The staff are great people.

Sadly I was too late for their chicken plate on Saturday at Ave26 because they're SOLD OUT very quickly T^T. Fortunately, they still have these awesome tacos up for grab. I really enjoy the grilling process - including their cool smoke beans and flaming oil!Find them at corner of Western Ave and Barton Ave in most of the daytime and follow their IG to find out which Night Market they're stopping by next.

My sister and I were in the area to do some work and we noticed a crowded little food stand on the corner of Barton Plaza. My sister had just watched a few episodes of some street food show on Netflix and it was the prime lunch hour, so we saw the perfect opportunity to try out Loritos Grill. It was a crowded stand, and the owners even set up a nice little dinning/sitting area for their customers to eat their food fresh or wait for their to-go orders. The chef was grilling up some chicken by the time we arrived, so we each decided to try out the 2pc chicken meal and some cups of the aguas frescas. As soon as the chicken was thoroughly cooked and ready to go, we were able to check out the chef cutting up our pieces of chicken and placing them flamin' hot, right onto our plates, which also came with rice, beans, a jalapeno with some onions, and 4 tortillas, hot of the griddle, it was a full meal! Not to mention their homemade salsa bar, which had a good selection of mild to spicy sauces to choose from. I feared the spice, but my sis told me that they were moderately spicy and added a nice kick and really complemented the flavor of her meal. There was an orange vendor selling freshly picked oranges on the corner as well, so the chef's wife bought a bag and squeezed some fresh orange juice right into the pineapple-orange aguas fresca drink, and I went for a cup of that flavor, and it was so sweet and refreshing. After snapping a few photos of my chicken plate, it was finally time to dig in! The plate was still nice and warm and the chicken was so delicious. The marinade that the chef used was so flavorful, and the chicken was perfectly cooked. The rice and beans paired excellently with the chicken and tortillas, and it was so good, that I was gnawing on the chicken bones like a hyena, trying to scrape off and guzzle down every last scrap of meat... I guess was really hungry as I skipped my most important meal of the day, but these chicken plates filled me and my sister up really well for the rest of the day. While we ate, we saw tons of people ordering and double fisting large bagfuls of fresh food to bring home, so the owners of the stand were working non-stop! They chef told me that they usually sell out of their food before closing up shop too, so if you want to get a taste of his delicious authentic cuisine, make sure that you come by early.

Like a lorito (Spanish for "parrot") I can't repeat enough how yummy their food is! It was fascinating to watch them prepare their chili relleno/al pastor burrito... they heated the cheese on the grill until it was past bubbling and then added a charcoal-roasted pepper, then finally a generous portion of meat wrapped in a huge, two-hands-required tortilla. Their salsas are fresh and spicy and I had one of their passion fruit/pomegranate agua frescas to balance. Definitely will be back!
