4 starsAnother great meal. It's been awhile since my last post. Food is still very good.We shared: 1) Papaya salad with grilled shrimp- my fav salad. Have introduced this to a papaya hating friend. This is made with unripe papaya shredded. She loved it. We loved this dish today as well. Had to scale back spiciness to mild for my lunch partner though.2) Yum nuen sliced beef salad- I prefer this to the shaken beef since it's sliced not cubed beef. Even with one piece of beef with a bit of gristle, this is very tasty.3) Seafood pad se eu - ordered because the photo looked to good. Variety of seafood (sliced squid, shrimp, fake crab, & sliced fish cake). Very tasty. A but price for $17 since portion was a bit small.4) Eggplant with ground pork- Again spice toned down. Great flavor, didn't taste too greasy as eggplant dishes generally do sometimes. Kind of unavoidable since eggplant really soaks up oil if not steamed prior to sauté.5) Pineapple fried with combo meats (chicken, beef, pork & shrimp). Great taste, a bit mushy (?) too much juice? Or rehydrating water? Or oil? I've had fried rice at other Thai places that were more dry anyway. Next time I'll order the house fried rice . Why would I order fried vs. plain white rice? Because Thai fried rice has different flavor components than Chinese, Hawaiian or the one I make at home.Minus 0.75- ladies room was a bit messy. Needs scheduled cleaning. Please wipe the inside of the Dyson hand dryer. Solid Thai food.

Got take out. Was not terrible, in fact it was pretty yummy. However I probably woudlnt order here again for 2 reasons. 1. They don't have brown rice. This is pretty strange and I can't imagine why they wouldn't offer brown rice. 2. The chicken in all the dishes was ground, small bits of chicken which was kinda strange. I definitely feel like it's a way to skimp on chicken. I've never encountered a place that does that.

You can't go wrong with these three items: Duck Pan Nang Curry, Pad Thai and Tom Kha. The holy grail, if you will. It was my first time here and left with the fullest belly - satisfied and well fed. I hear the duck noodles are great so I'll need to come back and try that too!- Duck Pan Nang Curry (Tender duck, no bones in any bite, flavorful curry - creamy, hearty, mild spice) - Pad Thai (Perfectly chewy noodles, balanced tangy and sweet flavors) - Tom Kha (Heart warming, tender chicken, perfectly tangy, creamy, and sweet) - Thai Tea (Honorable mention, super sweet!)Service was good - they checked on our table frequently and even took a nice family photo us! As for parking, you can either park on the street in front of the restaurant or in the parking lot behind it where you enter a hallway that takes you directly to the dining room. We came on a gloomy Saturday and the restauarant was 1/3 filled! Not too bad. Our party of 6 was seated immediately. My only note was the bathroom needed some work. I didn't dare use the hand dryer.

Finally found a Thai restaurant where everything we ordered was superb! I always set the greatness of a Thai restaurant according to the Phad Thai...And when they brought out the chicken phad Thai I somehow knew it was going to be good. Sure enough After the first taste I knew I found a top tasting, flavorful Phad Thai. It had the perfect taste, the noodle's consistency and flavor made this Phad Thai one of my new favorite! We also ordered chicken sate and that too had the perfect spice and the peanut sauce coated the sate well. The beef fried rice was another hit. Nothing disappointed us. The restaurant had a cute interior and the service will keep you coming back. A must try Thai restaurant bin Long Beach!!

My foodie friend, Kelly, brought me here a couple years ago. We've always had great experiences. To-go and dine-in. Interesting to see the special goodies in the front. Who can pass up mango sticky rice? This week, I stopped by my friend's to check on her since she was having girl problems and tends to not eat. So I picked her up and we decided to come here a few days ago with my son. The Thai tea is great here. My friend likes the Thai boat noodle with the flat noodles. I've tried a few things here but I love that they have duck curry! It was so yummy, I almost drank the whole curry bowl. Might be better with rice. I've always had curry with rice but it wasn't bad with the noodles. The crab n cream cheese wontons were yummy though! We'll always come back! We find parking on the street after the lunch rush hour. Thanks guys!

BEST THAI BOAT NOODLE EVER! My standards have been raised from this place. There was so much depth in the soup. I order a spicy medium combo, it comes with small intestines which is my favorite! The calamari had the most perfect crunch to it and paired with the sweet and sour sauce was perfect. The fried spring rolls were also really good, mostly mung bean thread noodle and wood ear mushroom, lots of texture in the bite. Service was timely and quick.

My favorite Thai restaurant in LB! The food is always prepared well and isn't too salty. The staff is friendly and great at recommending new dishes. So many great choices to choose from, but I've shared some pics of the things we usually get.

I've been coming here for almost a decade and have roped in a lot of friends who are also huge fans now. It's in an area where can be missed since it's plugged in in the center of a long street, but I never have trouble finding street parking. The Thai boat noodles are a popular item but if you're looking for a punch of flavors, I would say try the khao soi! The khao soi with duck is 10/10. The service is great, quick, attentive, helpful and the restaurant was not too busy on a Friday night. We also got a beef salad which was amazing. The sauce for the yem nua was fire. If you're a spicy sauce dipper, this is for you! We got medium - spicy for everything and it was perfect imo, very manageable. We also tried the mango sticky rice, lots of reviews saying $12 is a ripoff but I think the size is decent and it's quite good! You really can't go wrong with anything as I've also tried the curries, Tom kha, duck soups, papaya salad, and more. Prices are reasonable and restaurant is really clean too :)

There was street parking and I didn't have an issue parking. Ambiance is fine. Wait times were long. There was three of us and each plate was taken to our table at different times. The time between the first and second plate was over 10 minutes. Between second and thing probably another 6-7 minutes, which I think is outrageous. Portions were the smallest I've ever seen at a Thai restaurant. I did not feel full after ordering fried rice. These plates usually have enough for you to take home. I ordered it with fried tofu and the tofu had no seasoning at all, I had to try to fix it with sriracha and hoisin sauce and it was just not a great experience. The plates weren't terrible in taste but I definitely wouldn't come back here.
