recently they just took over this establishment. Which has been here for quite a few decades. It looks nice and pretty but I'm sure we're all paying for it at some point. This is our town our city they need to accommodate what the other people used to do for us. And not look at us like we're just a $$$ sign I wish him the best of luck. I went in, they denied me a can, because I have my natural hair out, and in the id I was wearing a wig. My husband (white) went in right after me, and bought the same can, it was cheaper then they told me, and they gave him NO trouble. I'm going to let karma take care of this place, lol. It always comes back around. I hate to wish death on anyone, but sometimes it's due.

I was thirsty as well so I went next door to Loma Liquor. I said "good morning" to the man at the counter, who didn't say anything and scowled at me like I did something wrong. When I was rung up, I asked if he could break the $10 bill he was about to give me into two $5's. He shook his head and threw the $10 on the register, and yelled at me. He said "You do not belong here, you do not ask for things like this. Don't ever come in here again. You do not belong here." I just laughed at him and told him okay, because he was being so ridiculous. If the problem was that he didn't have enough $5's, I would have understood and told him not to worry about it but he had to yell at me. He got his way, I won't be returning.

This place has saved me several times... butter, (of course you would expect them to have it), lemons, limes, bananas... Ginger ale.. one morning when I was extremely hungover, tin foil (good tin foil too Reynolds Wrap), the list could go on... They also have a surprisingly good "fancy" beer selection.The people that work there are friendly as well.Conveniently located and they have a random bouillabaisse of everything that you would seem to need.
