If you live in the South Bay and enjoy a great Cafe, be sure to stop at the Loaded Cafe in Lawndale. Their staff seemed to be very busy but the service was beyond great. They accommodated our family of 4 in 20 minutes.The facility was clean, and their staff was fast to clean and prep tables for the next group. The food was a mixture between Cafe, Mexican and American cuisine. We all enjoyed our first experience at the Loaded Cafe and give it 5/5 rating. I am looking forward to our next visit.

Just okay for us. Don't get me wrong, this is a nice, clean restaurant but I think the menu and cooks cater to those wanting Mexican food - which is not a bad thing. I went in for breakfast and ordered a non-Mexican food breakfast. It was okay. I lived in Oklahoma and Texas for times in my life. I have had a lot of chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak in that time. The gravy in OK and TX is much different than the one they serve here. The color is about the same but the taste is not. This one has a sweetness to it that takes away from what breakfast gravy is supposed to taste like - at least to me. The eggs over easy where cooked correctly but I was surprised at their small size. The hashbrowns were also cooked correctly and were tasty. This order also comes with two very good sized pancakes and they were very good. They only have one flavor of syrup so no IHOP choices. That's okay as the syrup was good. I'd suggest going in when you are in the mood for some Mexican style breakfast or lunch. Friendly service, clean place, lots of choices. Enjoy!

I enjoy this place, and have been doing so since it opened. The dine in experience. I tried to enjoy the last two experiences, however, after reviewing my bank account, I don't think I will be going back. There was a double charge on my account. I don't know if it was of financial necessity from the employee, or if it was some sort of mistake, but there was a receipt amount and another purchase of another amount that I do not recall.I communicate this so people can be aware. If you know how much the city is changing, the food prices... it's a tight budget and the amount on the other charge could be a setback.I would like for them to put a store added tip-charge notice, so for people who can't tip as they would like to, can go dine elsewhere.Shout out to Josh, the cook! The food has been amazing. Great cooking staff-- disappointed in the post dinning experience from the servers. So maybe take out, maybe this place is good take out.

The portions here are much different than the one in Bellflower. Ordered Loaded steak and eggs and the new Birria Plate. Steak and Eggs - Smaller Portion but very good.! Birria Plate- Not good - meat and consomé were very bland - consomé just needed to be boiled or reduced. Had a whole lot of hot water with little flavor. Not worth the $20.00.. picture in add says rice with vegetable - was served with no veggies. Beans were good. Brought someone here cause they give out conchas to start. Did not have any conchas.... Service was good.

While visiting LA I saw this place had great reviews. The place wasn't busy I came in by myself and it take a while for me to be seated because they were busy cleaning. But when I was seated it didn't take long for them to take my order. I ordered the Swedish crepes combo and it was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend and return on my next visit.

This is a hidden gem found in a strip mall in Lawndale. Came in for breakfast and had such a great tasting breakfast with wonderful service. They offer a variety of food with a Mexican twist. We had the horchata ice coffee and it was good, I really didn't get the horchata flavor, but it was not bad tasting coffee.For breakfast we ordered 2 different crepe combos:The combo is serviced with 2 eggs, you choose your way, I had scrambled and they were fluffy and not overly greasy. Hash browns were crispy and not overly salty which I liked. And your choice of sausage or bacon, I chose bacon and felt it could have been crispier.The crepes were very good, super thin and fluffy and topped with good amount of fruit. The whipped cream they use, though was too sweet for me, tasted like cake frosting. Ambience is casual and much better than an iHop or Denny's. We also received some complimentary mini conchas to have with our coffee while our came out. I'll be back next time I'm in town.

Have you heard of this Mexican Denny's yet? Loaded Cafe is serving up American classic breakfast and brunch food with a Mexican twist to it They have it all from savory meals like steak and eggs and asada chilaquiles, to sweet desserts like their milkshakes and complimentary conchas They even have an horchata pitcher The restaurant also just came out with a new strawberry crunch pancake and it tastes just like a strawberry shortcake ice cream bar the servers are all really nice and helped us with anything we needed.Definitely check them out when you're in the area!

This place was alright, the pricing was okay. I think a little expensive. It was typical Mexican food just a little elevated menu. I got a green juice that was pretty good. And we also had an horchata. The service was okay I feel like the waitress forgot about us for a long period of time. The conchitas were complimentary so I thought that was nice. And the ambiance itself was okay.
