I returned on a busy Sunday afternoon, this time bringing my wife, who had never been before. As soon as we entered, I noticed the place was packed, which is always a good sign in my book. The service was much better this time, and we only waited about 20 minutes to be seated. To my surprise, my server was Mr. Malaquin again, and I knew I was in for excellent service. He brought us our complimentary pan dulces and drinks while we placed our order. I chose the Guacamole Toast with Eggs again, and my wife ordered the Asada Chilaquiles plate. The food was amazing, and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant and its customer service. We're looking forward to coming back again!

I'm ashamed of myself as I've lived only a few miles away from this location and have never been here. My son and I came for breakfast cause he was feeling crepes. I was just excited to try a new local spot. I wish I remembered our servers name, but he was on point for real. Inside was that retro look old school breakfast/diner vibe. Totally fit the Bellflower vibe and I'll be back more often. I went with the crunch chilaquiles w/ asada and my son got the crepe combo. The breakfast came with a complimentary concha for each of us and I was shocked at the quality. Perfect size and decently soft/moist inside.

The service was excellent and the ambiance was open and, even though it was a 1970s look, it was pleasant. The food was OK. If I were to compare it to Denny's restaurant, I would rate at Denny's to be better. I will however give this restaurant a second chance. When I do, I will post.

Breakfast dates have been a thing for my husband and I and we def wanted to try loaded cafe since it's been on my list for a while now. I was excited to try their chilaquiles since it's one to their top menu items. I was quite disappointed since my dish was over $20+ and the carne asada was such a small amount. It did not enhance the dish at all. I did get the two sauces, red and green but neither of the sauce truly stood out to me also. It was all "ok". Nothing wow for us. I did appreciate the concha that's free and I did see the other tables have some amazing looking shakes/coffee drinks... but would I come back for those? Hmmmm maybe? I don't know. Sometimes I give places a second chance so maybe. Other than that, the place was clean. Service was great! But food... mediocre for my taste. Hubs says his country fried was nothing great either.

This is the second time for my husband and first time for me. First off everything on the table was greasy and sticky. It looks like they never wiped the bottles down. We were there at 7:30 so, right after opening. All of our menus were so dirty and sticky that the pages were stuck together. They really need to be taught how to wipe things down. Their Conchas were so stale. I bought the iced coffee flight and it was boxed iced coffee. It was all very, very sweet. The ham on my sons plate was really bad. It tasted almost sour. The strawberry crepes were ok. And my husband had the pork in green sauce. It was the best thing we ordered. But honestly, it wasn't delicious. I honestly don't know how this place is so highly rated.
