Legend Hot Chicken - Bell Gardens

Best chicken in the area! The service was quick and the sauces were great! There is more parking in the back, but you see here for the chicken strips! The spicy is no joke so I stick with the mild, but if you want spicy, this is it!

I went to this location because I did not want to drive to the Hawaiian Gardens location. I placed my order over the phone. Once I arrived, my food was not ready, and I had to wait about 15 minutes. The restaurant was completely empty, but a few people came in to pick up their orders. Once I took my food home, I realized I did not have any napkins or ketchup. I ordered the chicken pieces with Cajun fries. The food was pretty good and tasted exactly the same as the Hawaiian Gardens location. This place is pretty good for pickup or to eat there with family and friends.

Place isn't very clean and it was extremely hot in there. I was shocked by the prices, Canes or Daves Hot Chicken is cheaper than this. For a two tender combo it came out to about $23. Insane. Decided to stick to lemon pepper seasoning, and it was a little interesting they also serve boba and milk teas? Not sure how trusting I'd be with trying that. It was pretty dead, just one lady working and the service was okay, nothing great nothing bad. Chicken was crispy and the sauce was just thousand island, but still good. Fries were nice and crispy too. Did not eat the toast... it was super soggy and had no flavor. Always passed by and wanted to try, but I don't think i'd come back again.

Food, service and ambiance is superb. The food is amazing for the spot they currently got here in the city of bell gardens. Comparable to Habibis Hot Chicken it's got some competition. But every place has their own twist. This place is definitely better than than Daves Hot Chicken. I ordered the #1 sando with sweet potato fries and side of mac n cheese with the dressing. #2 honey spice tenders with Cajun fries and dressing. Feel free to come and contribute to give this place more business.

Today I was in Bell Gardens for work and decided to have some chicken sandwich so I Yelp a place and legends hot chicken popped up. Wow this place is a small Mom pop hole in the wall, but serves up some of the best chicken sandwich I've had in a long time. I got the spicy sand combo and it was so spicy and delicious. My friend tried the chicken tenders and waffles and I also took a bite. It was amazing. I can't believe I never found this place sooner for sure. 100% next time I'm in Bell Gardens I will try this place again.

This place is amazing. I highly recommend Legend Hot Chicken. We ordered soy garlic, Sweet spicy wings. Also, two chicken sandwiches with Cole slaw in them. For the appetizer we also ordered calamari. Our family we all enjoyed all menu. Service was over the top. You won't disappoint with any food here. I am glad that I find this restaurant.

Hot chicken in Bell Gardens! I tried this place with my siblings who loves hot chicken, went during lunch time and it was not busy at all. Their food is tasty, however, the wait time for the food to be ready seemed a bit high for me. Maybe next time I'll try ordering and picking up instead.

Ambiance: I came during my lunch break, and there was virtually no one inside. And maybe 2 people the whole time I was there. So it's safe to say it's pretty quiet mid day. Service: They have a ridiculously long menu, more than your typical hot chicken place. But the person behind the counter was so helpful, answering all of my miscellaneous questions about different things on the menu. Food: The meal didn't stand out, I went basic because I figured you couldn't do chicken tenders wrong. Overall, the tenders were decent, fries were average, and I'm sure it's personal preference, but I wanted my toast to be more "toasted" lol. Not a bad meal just wasn't amazing.

I have been to this location several times in the past and have been amazed at how Big and Flavorful the Spicy chicken Sandwiches were!! and the onion rings!! However the last 2 times I have been here I have noticed the quality has gone Down. I ordered a Spicy chicken sandwich and it didnt have that much seasoning and the sandwiches are alot smaller than they used to be,they changed the way they make the onion rings,today a few of them were burned and they didnt have flavorI threw half of them away! ,as for the French fries they had a crunch but no flavor !! It seems like New managent is cutting corners to save money and the prices are higher! Yall I dont fell like the math is mathing!

22 dollars for a mid sandwich, please go somewhere else it's not worth it lmao. Also like no options for drinks since their machine is broken
