I've been wanting to try this place since I moved to Gardena and I'm glad I did! We came on a Friday night and didn't have to wait at all, which was surprising. I ordered the galbi combo with dumpling soondubu and my partner got the kimchi with beef soondubu...the galbi was good but I don't need to get it again for the price...ours didn't come sizzling either so the onions were raw, which was too bad. I loved the soondubu though. Next time I'll just get the kimchi beef and call it a day!

The tofu soup is below average, very watery and ingredients was very little. The Banchan didn't have flavor or too salty.

Absolute gem tucked into a plaza chock full of amazing restaurants. They clearly know what people want as they offer lots of combos that include both the main and the Soondubu for a solid discount. The Soondubu was one of the most flavorful I've had! We got the dumpling addition for free and it was full of Japchae and chives which paired perfectly with the broth and bibimbap. The banchan were also great and the servers were very attentive.

My family and I came on a busy Sunday afternoon. We didn't have to wait at all! We were quickly seated. The parking was easy- lots of space in the private parking lot. We ordered the seafood and green onion pancake, the chicken bbq bulgolgi and bibimbap. The banchan options were wonderful and the service was impressive. They always had staff checking in with us and seeing if we needed anything. My husband who is vegetarian was able to find great options including extra miso tofu soup! The place is chill- low key casual. Busy environment with lots of customers (a good thing). The food was wonderful and the flavors were extremely well done! I cannot wait to come back again! Thank you for a wonderful Korean culinary experience!

If you are craving Korean stone pot bibimbap, this is the place to go! I had the kimchi stone pot bibimbap and practically licked the pot clean. My sister had the soon tofu soup which she said was equally delicious! The service was friendly and attentive.

One of my favorite soup shops! My go to is the dumpling soon tofu, medium spice level, with cheese. I love that they provide banchan, their rice is served in a hot stone bowl, and the tofu soup comes out bubbling hot. Service is always friendly and the shop has a cozy feel to it. It's the perfect meal for a cold or rainy day!

I just found my new fav soondubu place! Located in a small but busy strip mall with numerous restaurants, Lees Tofu is located near Kotohira. It's a decent size place with several tables that serves all types of soondubu and other korean dishes. The food was all delicious and the server who I think might've been the owner was super nice! My daughter only wanted to eat a certain color of the pasta side dish and so she took the time to select only that color and brought more of that - so thoughtful!

I was craving soon tofu and Lee's popped up in my search results. I've visited other restaurants in this northeast plaza at Western and Redondo Beach Blvd more times than I can count. Yet, this is the first time I've dined at Lee's Tofu. The Mushroom Soon Tofu hit the spot! I ordered it with water broth to make it plant-based. I love that it comes out boiling hot. Great flavor and a sufficient mushroom-to-tofu ratio. https://bit.ly/3RJ0vOZThe Fried Vegetable Dumplings were tasty and much bigger than I thought they would be. https://bit.ly/3vmJG4JThe Japchae was a generous portion considering it's listed as an appetizer. We ordered it without meat. https://bit.ly/48GsZzBThe lady who helped us was on top of it when it came to service. She understood the assignment when I asked for things to be vegan. She frequently checked in on us and constantly refilled the water in our cups.Small restaurant but seems to be popular. Most tables were occupied when we arrived at 3pm on a Friday. They greeted us right away and sat us immediately. Food comes out pretty quickly too.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - mild Beef Soon Tofu (10) and extra spicy Small Intestine Soon Tofu (18). The soups were on the plainer side but the rice was delicious! The extra spicy felt more like a medium spicy and could have used more heat. The intestines did get a bit queasy since it wasn't cleaned out very well but yummy overall. The sides were all very mild and could have been fermented a touch longer.Ambiance: 4/5 - depending on where you're sitting in the restaurant, the speakers can be quite loud. They were definitely trying to fill the front of the restaurants by the window before filling the seats in the back. The tables are a bit cramped together so the table behind us shuffled into us and vice versa a few times. Service: 5/5 - very friendly and checked in on us to ensure we had enough sides and drinks the entire time. He caught that one of the soups was incorrect while he was placing it on the table and immediately went to get it fixed.Value for price: 3/5 - a bit on the pricier side for the quality and taste of the soup. While the food itself is still delicious, there are better places for the price and cheaper places for the taste.
