Lakewood Rocks Sports Bar

Great time!!clean,also live band,can't beat it!!Bartenders were on point with drinks,played pool,and Darts!!

After much contemplating I've decided to rate this dive bar a solid 3/5. I've visited Lakewood Rock Sports bar a handful of times over the last few years and some visits have been better than others. Service has always personally been a hit or miss for me here. The young male bartender with glasses provided us excellent service many times. However, the tall blonde bartender that usually works would provide slow and mediocre service. Ambiance was also usually dead and I've never seen this joint really poppin' like that tbh. They do occasionally have live rock bands perform which was a plus for me as I'm all for live entertainment. Prices are a little steep here though from what I remember. Another con would be the lack of food options/vendors/ and snacks.Overall I don't hate this bar but I don't necessarily love it either. Decent in its own way and I'd recommend for people to stop by and check it out at least once.

First time, last time. Birthday gathering, party of 8 and growing so pushed 2 tables together for seating. Apparently this is a huge no no, owner flew over and scolded us for moving the table, she was p*ssed. Odd response to a party that wanted to all sit together and plenty of small tables available to accommodate an extended table.

My husband and I found ourselves here last night looking for live music close to home. The place was very clean, looked remodeled (don't judge a book by its cover, it looks tiny from the outside) and the atmosphere was friendly n fun.They had a good 3 piece band ( didn't get their name) that played covers and took requests, the music had the crowd up and dancing, which definitely added to the vibe. From what I read they have different bands play here on Fri, Sat and I also saw a flyer for a Tuesday comedy show. There was also no cover charge.The bartenders were friendly, good and readily available for refills. They had sports playing on the many tv screens and also had a few pool tables.We arrived around 930-10pm and it wasn't very full but it started filling up when we left around 1130-12pm.If you're looking for a place to chill, grab a drink and watch live music or sports then I'd def. Recommend this place.Overall a really cool environment, think upscale dive bar lol we will be back!!!!

This place is a great sports bar with an added bonus of live music. The bartenders are friendly and patient. Its atmosphere is socially accommodating. I highly recommend this place to watch sports, have conversations with friends and casual family meet ups.

Bartender with glasses let his friends cut us because they were " regulars " so we didn't tip .. he said he wouldn't service us if we didn't tip and then manager defended him because he said they were regulars we wanted to explain but she said he deserved more than a f u since we didn't want the pocket change back .. we literally brought more than 30 people with us so knowing damn well we were going to wait our time .. he lied saying they came up from the bar tops yet we saw them come from the pool tables ( liars and unprofessional) won't be coming back

Sue the owner does not allow the workers to do their job. she is the epitome of a helicopter parent but for her workers. Don't order a schooner because it is over priced on purpose. If you go a pint is less than a schooner on purpose but all the workers are forced to drop what they are doing if she calls or shows up. she does not care about the customer. she thinks she is priority. she is very disrespectful and demands respect when she does not give it. i would recommend going anywhere but here.
