L.A Waterfront Pizza

I'll preface this by saying I got their pizza delivered so did not eat it fresh--yet, I have no complaints! I can't speak to what the restaurant is like in-person unfortunately but the food has definitely made me want to go try it fresh.I was looking to try a new pizza place and LA Waterfront popped up local to me. They had some pretty yummy looking flavors and whipped up personal-size Detroit pizza so I gave it a shot.Firstly, the Spicy Honey detroit pizza was delicious--it had a great balance of flavor and big (cute, swirly) dollops of Ricotta on top to add an additional texture to the doughy yet crispy crusts. I've had plenty of Detroit pizza from other places and this place hits all the checkmarks. The dough was a bit less tall/fluffy than others I've tried but they still capture the right feeling and have the crispy cheese on the crust that really makes detroit style what it's known for. This might not have been intentional, but the honey seemed to also coat the bottom of the pizza which made for a really interesting "caramelized" texture at the bottom.We also got a build your own small pizza with mushrooms and pepperoni. The crust was nice and thin--exactly what you expect from artisan, woodfired pizza. It held up really well and was the right balance between crispy and chewy (it held up the fold test!). The sauce was just flavorful enough to stand out.I'd say a small pizza could definitely feed a single hungry adult, or be enough for two slightly-hungry adults. The detroit pizza comes in 4 slices and could definitely be 2 meals for an adult too, but I don't blame you if you want to finish the whole thing! Overally really quality pies here. Definitely will be back to try some of their other flavors.

So glad I found this place. We just moved to San Pedro from Long Beach. And we used to go to Long Beach Beer lab. But now that's kind of a drive for us. We've been struggling to find a place that we really like and I came across this place during the week, and the pictures looked amazing. Picked up pizza to go. And it's a very small place, but the people were insanely friendly, and the food was ready exactly when they said it would be. 100% coming back and next time bringing my husband, my sister and the rest of the family because this was 10/10!!

Have you ever had a pizza where the crust is so tough that it causes your jaw to cramp up? Well, if not, you're in luck! This is, by far, the toughest pizza I've ever attempted to eat. It's literally like eating a pizza made from leather. And not worn leather either! Fresh off the line, stiff as a board leather. I got the BBQ Chicken Pizza and I'm used to having fresh cilantro on top from other places. Here they use Serrano peppers which gives the pizza a very jolting hit of spice. Especially the next day when the peppers have a chance to release all of their oil. But, it's simply too little on top to save this. The BBQ sauce was the best part of the entire pizza. Just a handful of chicken pieces, a smattering of onions, and the deadly Serrano pepper slices and a very small amount of cheese. Over charged and under delivered. It was very disappointing.

My wife and I stopped by here this past weekend since we were at a nearby event. We split a small pepperoni pizza and some wings. The wings were good, but it was the pizza that really stood out. The tomato sauce that's used was far better than the usual stuff most places use. Although I usually prefer a thicker crust, their thin one was pretty good. The service was quick and friendly, and their menu had some choices that my wife and I would love to come back and try.

Good pizza went to a Birthday party and they brought there pizza oven on a trailer they cater the party they made a bunch of pizza talk to the owner and wife they very cool, they made some wings too everything was good.. They had the whole family helping too great family. Great Customer service and food!

It's now my favorite pizza place. This place is sooo good . I accidentally ordered the wrong pizza and turned out it was amazing . Will definitely be a long time customer

Tried this spot for the first time today and I have to say the service was friendly and the food quality was great. We had the spicy honey Detroit style and the OG Waterfront. Both were delicious.

When in Wilmington a must try ! Brick oven, hands down one of the best in town. Food is top notch quality and made with 100% love !

Talk to an employee and he said the Restaurant is close for the time being family issues, please call before placing an online order

Our pizza from this weekend was delicious We usually have it at least once a month They never fail with the quality of the food and the customer service, I must say I'll be a customer for life!!
