Great little spot in Downey . Small family owned. Tacos are a bit small so order a few. They do serve wine and beer.

Extremely friendly and helpful food truck that is serving up some delicious food! I definitely hope to pass this truck again. It's truly offering incredible food.

June 11, 2019I give this truck a 25 star rating if I could, but I can't so 5 stars is the max! In all my years of coming to the food truck event this is my first time not having one single complaint!!!!!!The prices were stellar and the food was extraordinary, I was very happy with my choice. I decided on the carne asada guesadilla it was fresh made and well seasoned. I can't believe I ate all of it I never do that I have to eat a few bites and then share.My mini me said Carol was a very nice lady and her son was working with her tonight. The three of us went to get our food from the LA Taco b& co truck....that never ever happened before.I am so hoping this truck will be here all the time because, it will be my first choice always. I still do not believe how wonderful my food was my whole family seemed to enjoy their's too.

The rotation of food trucks that stop by in front of my office during the week are generally quite poor, so you can imagine my anticipation when new truck on the block LA Tacos & Co pulled up on a weekday afternoon. Unfortunately, while they get it right with their carne asada to be sure, overall these were tacos that were just A-OK. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere?I really wanted to just love LA Tacos & Co. You had really genuinely friendly people working the truck and even though their Yelp page is pretty new they have a great presence with a whole swath of photos. After taking my order I had my tacos ready to rock and roll in under five minutes. Star. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost?The tacos at LA Tacos & Co are $2.50 each, which is a bit pricey compared to the street tacos you can find elsewhere, but it's worth pointing out that these tacos were pretty well stacked with meats relatively speaking, which made the price point worth it. Star. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food?So it's here where things didn't really impress given how competitive the LA taco scene is. For starters, the tortillas at LA Tacos & Co were a bit weak. They were a bit firm as opposed to fluffy and fresh, and they really didn't add to the tacos like top notch five star tortillas do. From there, the meats were a mixed bag. While the carne asada was genuinely excellent, with a peppery flavor that really stood out, the pastor and chicken were just okay, with the chicken falling behind a bit. The red and green salsas aided in bringing everything together, but these wouldn't crack my top 10 or possibly top 20 tacos in the area. Single Star. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could?LA Tacos & Co is new and they'll refine their craft, but for the time being I'm not yet singing their praises given how many great options there are in town. No Star.

Love this food truck, cant wait for them to return to our apartment again so we can send another phone order. They did mess up and only gave us 2 tacos when we ordered 4, but they offered a refund so we did not mind. I ordered the shrimp burrito and it did not disappoint. Super delicious. My husband ordered carne asada taco and he agrees this food truck is pretty delicious. We are looking forward in ordering the shrimp burrito again.

The tacos al pastor are super generous on the meat!!! nice to be able to grab some food without having to leave the complex tonight and their staff are super sweet and friendly! Plexi glass in the window for social distancing- increased sense of safety during these covid19 times

I shared the asada fries and al pastor torta with my husband. The asada fries were really good. The a pastor torta was ok. I probably would have liked it more if I would have just had the asada torta But it was good.

Enjoyed their California Burrito! Stuffed with Carne Asada, fries, beans, rice, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cilantro and sour cream. Just enough to fill me up and the balance of ingredients seemed just right.

We stopped in at Brouwerij West for a couple beers, which BTW were awesome, and decided to grab some street tacos from the LA Taco & Co truck that was there. I got the chicken and my wife got the pastor. THEY WERE HORRIBLE!! The meat was fatty and a bit rubbery. The pastor tacos smelt like dirty dish water. NEVER AGAIN will we eat at LA Tacos & CO!!!

I got an Al Pastor Burrito with added jalapenos and hot salsa. - It's just okay. It's not bad, not great - 90% of it taste like plain beans and rice - 10% tastes great when I got a jalapeno or some pastor, the char was good- felt like it legitimately contained 10% of it's weight in meat. There was nothing it was kind of sadTLDR: I paid 10 bucks for rice and beans with a sprinkle of meat. I wouldn't come back or recommend.
