I really wanted to like this location since I just moved to the area.$24 for a bag of chips, elote and tostis.The elote had mold in it the first bite in.... I should have looked at the yelp reviews. 0/5.They don't answer their phone line either, I'm going to have to take the L.There are other la michoacanas ( South Gate location is top tier ) a lot cleaner.Welp, if I get food poisoning I know why/where it's from.

Going to preface this with I ordered delivery, it was a long day of moving things and driving around and I was ready to just stay at home. Ordered Tostilocos ($9.99) and Frutas con Chile ($10.99), my friend wanted Hot Cheetos w/ Cheese ($9.99). We both recognize that we probably paid extra for the convenience of having it delivered, but like I said, we were TIRED. The good, the Hot Cheetos w/cheese were decent, but that's pretty impossible to mess up.The Tostilocos came packaged separate from the toppings, to keep from getting soggy, but the toppings looked and tasted like they were stale. I had to pick out the jicama because it was bitter. They also were really skimpy on the provided liquid toppings, ie a teaspoon of lime, Valentina, and chamoy. The Frutas con Chile are what warranted the 1 star. You mean to tell me that a small plastic clamshell filled 1/4 of the way with fruit that tastes like it was sliced more than 2 days ago is $10.99? I know I'm paying a higher price to have it brought to me but that's just scummy.You live, you learn- picked what was edible out of the bunch but all in all, we were really not able to salvage much. I won't be ordering delivery from here again, nor will I plan to stop in.

The ice cream is really good, I got birthday cake one night when McDonalds machine was down (which we all know is always). It was $5 for a small scoop, but it was pretty good and the staff was nice. The language barrier was a downfall because they didn't know exactly what I was asking for, but luckily I picked something good.

This place is colorful and rich. The vibe upon entering is amazing. The staff here is awesome. Great smile and is very courteous. If you have questions or are not sure what to get. They will help you. The choices here can be quite overwhelming. There are so many to choose from. Everything looks good and tasteful. They literally know how to display their products and stuff. If you're in town, try there "Pepino Loco Manzana Loca Raspados Licuados." Or keep it simple, "Corn On The Stick With Hot Cheetos." Or what most people call it "Elote."This place is unique in their own way, from design and presentation, it's pretty nice. If you're in the area, stop by and say hi. Enjoy it here or on the go. I've been here multiple times. The ice cream is so good! The paletas (popsicles) are equally as great! If you have a sweet tooth this is the place to fulfill that craving. I got the double scoop of Mazapan ice cream and Tequila ice cream with a chocolate waffle cone, sooo good.
