La Michoacana

Every time I come here I'm always happy my go to is the nachos or chips with nacho cheese. The taquitos are yummy also. It's always decorated and playing music adding to its overall ambience. I have tried the ice cream too and my family and I love it. Rarely does a scoop make it home. The staff are generally very nice; however, sometimes they don't understand you or need you to explain what you ordered. Overall very fast service though and talented staff.

This place is horrible. The manager is an old lady dressed in her pajamas. She has no sense of customer service and has atrocious behavior. The telephone number under their google and Yelp accounts its incorrect probably because they want no one to contact them when there is an issue. I was charged twice on my My credit card for an order and told my card wasn't working. So I paid cash. All to find out when I got back at work that my credit card transaction DID go through. I had to drive all the way back to dispute being charged THREE times. All to be told I need to stand by while they take care of all their other customers. My time was clearly not more valuable then theirs. She was not sympathetic that this inconvenienced me, or that it was her fault this had occurred.

First time here, I ordered the Tostilocos and there horrible. They make them out of regular tortilla chips and not Tostitos, also the pork skins were old and disgusting. Not worth $7

I had been wanting to try this place for some time but for one thing or another I hadn't stopped by. Its in a ptetty busy shopping center across the street from the Compton Court house, but on this day parking was easy i found parking right in front of the location. i walk in there looking at there menu and decide to get a "paleta de nieve" which is pretty much an popsicle. The man working there goes to the back and comes back and says sorry we dont have any, mind you any other ice cream place like this one has ice cream and popsicles on display in the case in front this one didn't. He offered my daughter and I ice cream, but wasnt sure what kind he had, but he would have to check the back, so i passed.I then ask for an horchatta, which to my surprise they also didnt have. the man finally says we have "raspados" which is pretty much a snow cone, and i agree. Let me tell you that was the most disgusting drink i have ever had the flavor was off not only that the ice wasn't fresh it had a strong taste of freezer burn. I was so unhappy with my experience that I dont recommend anyone to go here. I felt like it was a waste of my time and money.

Went in today to try this place out since it's being run by brand new owners. Got a burrito, tacos de canasta, a duriloco, fresas con crema and two chamangos. All that was $45 dollars. Everything smelled good and looked good but once we started trying everything we had order it was all bad. The burrito was very small and hardly had any meat inside. The tacos de canasta were ok, but the rice was way too over cooked. The fresas con crema were awful! They use FROZEN strawberries for it. Never in my life I had frozen strawberries in a fresas con crema and for $8! Totally not worth it! The duriloco was just smothered in chamoy and hot sauce yeah I couldn't eat it I had to toss it out. The chamangos are nothing but crushed ice and chamoy with frozen mango pieces. Sadly this place is just terrible, I won't be coming back. I would put 1 star but the people here were very friendly and chatty. But please save your money and go somewhere else.

This place sucks don't even waist your time to go I order a chamango and it didn't even had ice cream it was just a regular raspado I don't even think they are the original la michoacana I also order ice cream and went inside to check it out and it said thrifty ice cream on the labels DONT GO you are going to get disappointed

The times I been here the customer service and food has been great.. I like the tortas and chilaquiles.. authentic Mexican food.. must try
