Perfect post-rave meal! so much flavor!! The pupusas were authentic & fresh. My fave was the jalapeño and cheese! Just wow! don't forget to eat them with your handssssss!

If you're searching for authentic food from El Salvador I highly suggest coming here. Pupusas are filling and delicious and the chicharrón con yuca are amazing! There is a bit of a wait for them to bring out the food but it's because they are making it fresh. They even have fresh bread they sell as well. The waiters here are also nice and welcoming. There is parking in the front and as well in the back.

After being married to a Salvatrucha for 20 years I know Salvadorean food, especially pupusas and curtido. I totally love the pususas! We are never disappointed, the filling is in excellent proportion to the masa.We tried both restaurants in Long Beach, CA. The one on Pacific Coast HW is especially good for the tamales.If you are looking for homecooked Salvadorean food, La Guanaquita is the place.

Hands down My favorite pupusa place! they take so long to make your order but you're insured a freshly made meal each time. So if you're not dinning in call prior to heading over there or else you're going to be waiting for about 35-45 mins for a simple pupusa order. But trust me when I say it's SOOO worth the wait!!

La señora es muy mal educada hace comentarios de muy mal agrado, deberían cambiar personal, ya van más de 3 veces que no me parece bien la forma que lo trata a uno como cliente. La comida esta buena eso que ni que no vamos a mentir

The food is usually good but the last two times the service has been not so great . A couple months back we went and ordered a revuelta. It tasted sour like if the meat had gone bad. We asked an employee if they could remake it and she just kept arguing with us that thats how it's suppose to taste like. We went back a couple weeks ago, it was an hour before closing . I think they gave us whatever pupusas they already had made . 4/6 of the pupusas we got were wrong. Also the plátano was not cooked right it was still VERY hard . probably wont be going back soon.

Been coming here for long time; both locations. Will be back for more. Pupusas are not the small ones like El Salvador, (never been there but heard) and are made fresh. Salsa picante is really spicy. Authentic food. Authentic spot. Thx for reading.

Este lugar tiene empleadas mal educadas. El servicio aquí es muy malo. La comida no es mala pero prefiero ir a otro lado a comer papusas que aguantar el servicio horrible de este lugar. No se ponen guantes para agarrar el pan. Y contestan muy grocero. Este lugar no tiene ni un sentido común de cómo tratar al consumidor.

Tried to buy some pupusas today since I've been craving them for a while and I've bought from here before , but today their location was super packed and I walked up to the counter and tried to order and one of the employees told me to wait to talk to someone else. Okay cool maybe she was busy and running around because they were busy ok no problem. Another employee comes to the register cursing and pissed off slamming stuff rambling about another order. I just kind of smiled and waited for another person to come. Another girl comes and tells me with an attitude that it's going to be a 45 min wait to an hour because they're extremely busy they have to make their indoor orders and on top of that walk in orders. I just smiled and said nvm and walked out lol it's like they were mad they were busy but it's not the customers fault! I think I'll be taking my money somewhere else next time I'm in the mood for pupusas.
