Check this spot out for breakfast Saturday morning and it was so delicious. I highly recommend getting the moly chicken dish, but I heard it's gonna be available day of the dead weekend. They're Birria is made out of goat meat, which you have ever having traditional pull off and there was very good Quesadillas, they were delicious both the mushroom and the one that was more like veggie base. Delicious service was super friendly and warming. I really cute restaurant very vibrant. This is definitely my top for Oaxaca food.

This is the first time I said. "I'm going to yelp so much on this place!" I'm a big fan of Oaxaca! People, food and culture. Since I have visited the state a couple times I always wish to find the feeling in so many places here in California. This is one of them!!!!! Thanks to some supportive food bloggers I was convinced to drive here today and have a comforting meal! Place has limited seats, cute colorful interiors by the way. for now (they're explaining really soon) so while waiting I sampled their fresh carnitas and chicharon cooked right outside! The friendly gentleman cooking outside was right about how good it is. It's so good! So many people stopping by getting their fresh cracklings to go!We ordered a couple of things. I'm excited Birria de chivo plato. Looking forward to the tlayudas and mole. Will update my review! Lemme finish eating;) oh and we ordered the best menudo ever!

We've actually been here several times now, as we live in the area - they do have a small, low-frills seating area, and the first time tried them, we ate there, but the other times, we've gotten food to take back with us. (One comment: if you dine in, they give you chips and mole salsa for free - if you get food to go, I learned on my most recent visit a couple days ago, you *can* ask for some, but you have to ask. Which I will continue to do, as their mole salsa is very good!)Anyway, on that note, the first time I tried the food here, I was there specifically to try their mole plate - their mole is pretty good (not quite as good as the best mole I had, in Mexico City, but there are probably also things it's harder to get here than in Mexico City for making mole. Anyway, it was quite good.) I was less happy with the chicken, just because it was bone-in chicken and fairly bony (wish they'd have more meat options for the mole plate - though the menu is also wrong, incidentally, it *is* available every day). On the other hand, the mole was the important part of that anyway, so I'd much rather just dip chips in it, which as I mentioned you can do for free-with-purchase, and then order something else. We also tried their tlayudas, which I had figured you really had to eat right away vs taking it to go - it is quite good, though some of the toppings were a bit... large. My wife was less impressed with it, though, so I ended up taking a good amount home anyway (turns out I was wrong - like pizza, it's actually pretty good the next day, too.)Subsequent to that visit, I've been back three times for to-go orders, and every time, I've gotten a torta, as their tortas are actually pretty great value, much more so than their "entrees" ($10, and they're *huge*). That said, I also delayed this review specifically *until* I went back to try their torta again, as the first time I got a torta from them, a few months ago, it was *great*, then I went back a few weeks later and had a much worse, less flavorful, flimsier torta with gristlier meat and was super disappointed, and wasn't sure if it was a one-off. Anyway, the torta I had a couple days ago was, in fact, great, so: probably. Would strongly recommend their tortas based on two out of three times I tried them, anyway. Zero complaints about service speed or quality at any point, dine-in or takeout. Some definitely had to translate questions to the chef last time, which didn't speak English, but well, that just says a place claiming to be properly Mexican rather than Mexican-American likely actually is. (Then again, you could probably also tell from the fact that they have chapuline burritos on the menu. Also goat birria and lamb barbacoa, but only on Sundays, and that part of the menu is accurate. I would like to try both of those, we just never end up here on Sunday. Chapulines are every day, though.)

I had my first visit to this restaurant a couple weeks back with a friend for an early lunch. After looking over the menu, I ordered the Chorizo con Huevo breakfast plate while my buddy ordered the Platillo Condesa plate. I had been craving chicharrones and was hoping to have some, but was told it's only available on Sundays.Anyhow, the food came out great! Huge portions, beautifully presented and sabia muy bueno! The dining area is clean, well maintained and just right. Service was very good and we were well taken cared of. You will definitely get your moneys worth (and then some) - well recommended.

Great food, great service. La Condesa De Oaxaca is on Pacific & 10th, a hole in the wall type eatery. I tried their Birria de chivo (goat birria soup), excellent. Their asada & lengua tacos are delicious. Very authentic Mexican food with a smile. I highly recommend this family owned business, you should give them a try. Support your local small business.

This place is very unassuming but very delicious. Parking lot is small, but we didn't have issues finding parking. The girl at the front counter was very kind and she also waits the tables. You can either go up to the counter and order take out or be seated and they will provide table service. I got the torta de Milanesa and it was delicious. I don't know what bread they used but it was so good and the Milanesa was cooked well but not chewy. My husband ordered the quesadilla with beef and that thing was HUGE!! You could probably split it between two people. The tortilla was made by hand and it was really delicious. Prices are super responsible for the quality of food you get. I'm definitely coming back.

Such amazing authentic food. More than enough portions. I felt like it needed more authentic drinks but the bottled horchata was really good.
