Some friends wanted to try this place but I was a bit skeptical after seeing the reviews here on yelp. I will say the experience was overall positive. Mexican food in California is top tier, so I can see how this place struggles to compete. The food was pretty good and had decent portions. Prices were standard and the inside had plenty of seating. We got our food quickly and the cashier was super nice. There are definitely some other places in the area that are better, but this place is still worth a try if you find yourself looking for a quick place to eat.

Ordered menudo on a rainy Sunday. Lady asked "How many?" I replied "Just one." Again she asked "How many?" I tried in Spanish "Uno por favor." Then pointed at the maiz and asked again: "Hominy?" Just kidding. That really didn't happen. The menudo was amazing though! I expected half of the bowl to be hominy but they served it with a lot of tripe and even patas. Maybe I got lucky but most places serve lots of hominy with tiny bits of tripe. Will definitely try the other items on the menu!

Today was our very first time trying this place. It's super close to our house but the reviews were not the best so it kept us away ... until now! We both loved our dishes: food was on point. The reason for 4 stars is because the guacamole did not taste fresh, it tasted like the store bought ones. Place is small but they have some tables if you want to eat there. We will be back to try other items for sure!

Before going I looked on yelp for a menu and prices, their website is not working. Prices seemed good, I called and placed an order for a burrito and nachos. When I arrived total was $30. $10 more than what I was expecting. So I took one of their flyers and I'm posting it so no one else has the same shock of their prices.

I can't understand how this place has stayed in business. They have loud blaring music or TV and the lady glares at you when you ask them to turn it down. I watched the cook scrape the old crusty refried beans out of a container and put it in my burrito, then she wrapped it in paper so tightly the contents squirted out in the bag. I won't go back obviously.

Thought the tacos were 99 cents on Monday and Tuesday, like the ad said we looked closely and they wrote the 1 before the 99 cents making each taco 1.99. Still gave them a chance, the lady at the register isn't friendly and not welcoming. She has an unpleasant attitude! That makes you don't want to eat there. The beef tacos are greasy, I had better tacos from Del taco. We won't be coming back some one needs more training on there customer service skills.

This is a hole in the wall and more of a take out place than a sit down. But they have the BEST CHORIZO BREAKFAST BURRITO I have ever had! Add the potatoes. Their salsa (the medium) is super good and addictive. If you take food to go they do charge for chips and salsa but I will pay every time because it is that good!!

I don't like to give negative reviews but my food today was inedible. The hash browns had freezer burn, it has the old scrapings of the skillet, with a mixture of fried eggs. It smelled and tasted like frozen cardboard, eggs, and oil all it once. I took one bite and spit it back out. During my time there, an older lady came in with complaints of her food and the cashier/possible owner in a rude tone said - do you want a refund or order something else? I wanted to say something but it doesn't seem like he cared at all. Also, the ketchup packets are expired, super sour it was disgusting. The bacon didn't taste like bacon, and even the wheat bread had a foul taste. They didn't provide any butter nor jam at least as condiments. My fiancé ordered chilaquiles, 1 enchilada, and 1 chile relleno, it was all disgusting unfortunately. This is not authentic Mexican food, the quality is terrible. Don't waste your money, your stomach will and bank account will thank you, especially in this economy. Supermex is across the street, go there instead.
