La Bodega Michoacana Ice Cream

Its such a treat to come here because in partnership with the bodega this really completes your corner store shopping experience. The casings are filled with beautifully decorated tubs of the classic ice cream parlor Mexican style flavors. It's like a macrocosm of what you find in the ice cream bike vendors, but all laid out for you. How exciting it is to look in the popsicle section and find all those flavors and choco bananas.The drinks come in large volume, and the ladies know to dunk the ladle from the bottom from the top to avoid the ice. Bless their hearts! Get your sweet treats here!

What is this a cute little place! First of all I love it because the prices are so much better than some of the chain ice cream establishments that make you pay five dollars for one scoop of ice cream. This is very reasonable for different flavors of ice cream. My favorite is Chamoy! However they have everything from snickers ice cream to fruity pebble ice cream, coffee ice cream, etc. I have already been to visit another local location. Never ever crazy busy but all kinds of desserts this place. I will continue to come visit.

OMG this store is the bomb.com, I initially went here to get various meats. I pass here all the time, today I finally stopped I am so glad I did. I was asked right away as I approached the meat counter did I need help with anything. There's a full meat counter the prices are pretty good. The other thing that I love was the Michoacana Ice Cream and other treats #bionicos was so yummy. The lady was very nice gave me samples of the ice cream it's made with natural products. I have found a new place when I have a sweet tooth. Last but not least is the chicken that is grilled outside I purchased a half of chicken which included salsa it is so yummy & juicy I will definitely return very soon

OMGGGG!!!! So today was my first time coming here and I was in ice cream heaven. They have so many different flavor ice creams, paletas, raspados, smoothies, etc. They have milk based ice cream as well as water based (I prefer water based) for you to choose from. My daughter ended up getting a double scoop which costs $5, but you're getting a red cup sized cup full of ice cream so I don't think the price was too bad. I have yet to try the paletas, but they look amazing! Unfortunately I'm on a damn diet so I had to pass today, but I will be back on cheat day So finding the place...if you don't pay attention YOU WILL MISS IT! It is actually inside the bodega on a corner of Anaheim and a small cross street. Parking is horrible. Maybe only 8 parking spots and they're usually always taken. Street parking is almost none existent also. Don't lose hope though, people are in and out quick so the wait isn't too long, it's definitely worth it though!

This place was great!! It's inside the Bodega so it's a bit hidden but once you find it you will be pleasantly surprised (:They have a big variety of paletas and different items on the menu.I got the mangoneada, it was really good!Great place to visit especially with this heat (:

Found this joint on Yelp while I was in the area.It's located inside of the small Mexican market.There was a "now open" sign outside so I'm assuming this is a new establishment.Private parking is available. There were 2 groups ahead of us but we were served pretty quickly. Service was friendly.They have wide variety of ice cream, Paletas (Mexican style popsicles), elote and so on! Ordered chamango (Mangoneada in their menu).Even though it wasn't the shaved ice type I prefer but their mango sherbet was good and refreshing!They put lots of mango chunks too. A+++!

I came in to get Bionico !!! and i was not disappointed . This place is great, all the fresh fruit , and tasty cream in the Bionico...!!! I will be back again... to try out other selections. We buy the grilled chicken at least twice a month!!!.. Always friendly service!!

Great tasting ice cream. A lot of variety to enjoy. From ice cream bars, to smoothies (licuados), to Pepinos Locos, to ice cream by the scoop... Everything is tempting, and anything you decide on will undoubtedly be on point. Highly recommend it!

Oh myyyyy!Hard to form words while the drool is coming out of your mouth!F-S-Sun ONLY WHOLE chickens cooked on outside grill..Come before 7pm if you want to buy one cause you have to go inside be distracted by the awesome fresh seasoned seafood, ceviche (be bold & order the 'hot' one... then listen/watch when they ask you 2 times 'Are You Sure?!!')pollo, skirt steak, etc.And 5 Stars for the fresh made Guacamole! Once you grab the above... the single check out line maybe 5 deep & you have to pay for outside grilled chicken take ticket/# to cook!Maybe too late.. they're all spoken for and You have to suffer as you smell how good that WOULD have been If You came earlier!Soooo Come at 6:30 LATEST (not 7)..I'm a woman... I'm allowed to change my mind!

The fruit desserts here are by far my favorite here in Long Beach! The Bionicos are made with fresh fruit and the ice creams are made daily! This place always maintains itself super clean. I highly recommend this place.
