I read a review about this Komi Buffet and the dude confirmed he had been to Paradise buffet and this was superior, I insisted to go there my husband was not happy about it as it was very far w traffic it took 45 minutes from Huntington beach. We saw the parking lot full, I said to myself wow, it must be good as it turned out there was a Korean BBQ AYCE next door. Komi buffet was pretty much empty, it was so cheap we were worried as we get what we paid for but well, we were there already. The pictures of the crab looked much better than in real life, the crabs were small making it hard to crack and eat it, the salt and pepper taste was not bad though, I don't care for crawfish so I did not even try, the shrimp was OK too not exceptional, the beef broccoli was oily and the Korean ribs were bone dry and very chewy I could not eat it. I like the salt pepper shrimp, the crab mixture in a shell and the mussels, other than that it was really low quality, one must be college kids to enjoy this buffet. I tried the Mongolian BBQ, the noodles were a joke, coarse and orange color? what was that all about? it was totally inedible. The ice cream was fine, at least it was real ice cream not soft serve. I only gave a 3 stars bc the service was good and the low price, the food alone is only 2 stars. It was $18.99 but Paradise is only $1 more and it was really wonderful, the only reason I have not come back is bc I'm afraid I'll look like L i z zo, it's hard to get good food nowadays that's why I'm going on a cruise soon, no matter how bad it is compared to 10 years ago, it's still better than any buffet around here.

6.5/10 food, 8/10 for price! For a buffet, the price is unbeatable! Student friendly for budgeting, but I would just advise to be careful with the fresh seafood. The sushi rolls were all okay, but the salmon sashimi was definitely not fresh and have fishy pieces. The restaurant was also very accommodating for being able to host our size group for a birthday party in a secluded area but not too far from the food. They have many options from sushi and sashimi to crab meat soup, lobster bake, orange chicken, broccoli beef, mongolian grill, sticky rice with meat, red bean sesame balls (jian dui), the chocolate fountain, fruit, and several unique ice cream flavors! Some FAVORITES: baked scallops were so flavorful! Dry fry chicken wings and crab cheese rangoons with sweet and sour sauce available! And the coconut pineapple ice cream flavor was a perfect end with a chocolate covered marshmallow! Parking in the lot is free and easy, and the bathroom was pretty clean! Will probaby come back sometime!

Came here for a Sat lunch party of 50 people from 5 months babies to 95 year old senior citizens. Cannot beat the private room for that crowd of last minute reservations and the variety of food and services for everyone. Plenty of parking, restrooms are clean, hostesses and servers are responsive in bringing water, clean plates and tables. And the price is unbeatable. Avoid the sushi counter except the edamame, go for the Mongolian grill, choose only the wet marinaded meat in one plate, the other plate only put vegetables (and optionally noodle ), add an egg if you prefer. Don't choose the frozen sliced meat. The chef will cook them separately and hand them to you. Patiently wait there for your foodChicken wings, roasted sweet potatoes, baked scallops are good. Fried rice, lo-mein, noddles, salad, soup and bao as you please. Fruit section is not bad. Leave room for 12 flavor icecream (not ) and chocolate fountain marshmallow, wish they have strawberries . They do have cake too. Be patient and slowly sample very small portions so don't waste food and leave bad reviews. Easy to stuff in, hard to rid them off. Recommended to give it a try if you're around Buena Park.

Stopped by on Saturday, 10/05/24 for the first time. Super crowded and amazing food options.3 Adults (Saturday Lunch Buffet, $14.99 per person) = $44.97SALES TAX = $3.49TIP = $10OVERALL TOTAL = $58.46Seafood: Fried peeled shrimp, unpeeled shrimp, sushi, clams. Tons of ice cream flavor options - including matcha/green tea and coffee my favorite!I can see why this place gets crowded and it is because of how extremely affordable this place is.

Lunch buffet is a nice deal. Something like $15 on Mon-Fri. I come here, pig out and won't eat until. It a buffet so your not gonna find those quality items but they do have a great live Mongolian bbq. You fill up your plate and the chef cooks it in front of you.

Not too bad, in my personal opinion, but I'd probably REALLY want to crave buffet food to come back. We came on a Friday night and saw the dining room mysteriously empty. You see, I've been here in the past, wayy before COVID, so I remember these buffets filling up quite a bit. We got our table near the center, and our drinks right away. I walked around the buffet for a minute, and saw that things weren't quite getting refilled that quickly? The sushi chef was cranking it out though, so props. Some of the food highlights were definitely the sushi, which was pretty fresh and got turned around rather quickly. There were great California rolls, and even some tempura rolls that I suspected were older sushi. The Mongolian grill was great, and had a nice assortment of veggies, can't ever go wrong with And the ice cream had a great selection of flavors for the buffet price. Some of the other food was not great, as the chinese food options were a little dry, some things were not being put out that quick, and the dessert selection was very sad. This place is no frills, folks. But if you really want a quick and cheap buffet with decent options and service, this is your spot.
