So amazing, we went back for another celebration! This is the best supper club in Newport Beach

Wife and I came here for lunch on a Sunday.What we ordered was two long sushi rolls, Teppanyaki style ribeye, vegetables, small salads, beef broth soup, and for appetizers domestic Kobe beef sliders and two drinks.Pros:Decent looking place overall, they have live music in the far room next to the bar.Overall impressions are lots of food to fill you, the Teppanyaki grill chef was doing his grill performance for you that is entertaining as you would expect, very nice guy. The fried rice was good and delicious with fresh grilled vegetables he prepared for you and the ribeye steak tasted fine, nice and soft, but no wow factor.Cons:The soup was a beef broth style, no big deal, the small little salad were both like what you would expect at a sushi bar, no big deal. The two sliders, $17 - was a plate full of crispy french fries and two smallish domestic Kobe beef sliders that tasted like any other beef to me. The final verdict is that, I wouldn't venture back here because it was way over inflated in the prices. With a $24 tip I included for the waiter, the price came to approximately $158 for two people at lunch. It wasn't that impressive or super delicious that I would wanna come back at those prices.The place isn't bad, but it doesn't fit the price point in deliciousness, and overall satisfaction. But maybe I'm wrong, you come if you want to, try it out for yourself see what you think.

Saturday night date night led us to Kobe Steakhouse, and it was the perfect spot for drinks and a little something to eat. The restaurant offers a variety of dining options--a bar area, a lounge, regular dining tables, and the fun experience of a chef cooking your food right in front of you. We made a reservation for the lounge but arrived early and started at the bar. Despite being busy, the bartender quickly got our drink order in.When it was time to move to the lounge, we were impressed by the two waitresses who managed the area--they were fantastic! They took our food and drink orders promptly, ensured we always had water, and were attentive throughout the evening.The music was lively, and the vibe was energetic. People were up and dancing (despite there not being an official dance floor), and we happily joined in! The atmosphere was so much fun, and we had a great time.We'd definitely come back. While the prices are comparable to most places these days, sharing a plate, enjoying a strong drink, and soaking in the lively energy makes for a great night out!

We came for the Beatles Brunch buffet. Food was good except there was a really big piece of fat on one bite of steak. I enjoyed most of the music, but they took too many requests on tips, even for a non- Beatle song

My dear friend took me here for my bday. This was my first time here and it was very nice. I ordered the filet mignon steak and shrimp and it was yummy. Great service from the staff and they had the traditional decor of teppan style dining experience. Note: Adjacent to the bar they had a live band playing and it was fun. It's a small fee to get seating for the live band. They have a variety of bands that play daily on certain days. Great place for gatherings, birthday parties, and live music.

My boyfriend and I came to Kobe last night and were thoroughly impressed! I'm a sushi lover through and through and this was by far one of the best quality sushi I've ever had. I highly recommend as the food was amazing and the ambience was great as well, featuring live music. Our waiter was on top of everything and the service was very quick. P.s try the Kobe Sliders

We were a large group of women out celebrating Boss's Day and sat at a teppanyaki table. We had the most entertaining chef that I have had on any visit. He was funny, charming, and a little flirty in a professional way. As usual the shrimp are overcooked in my opinion but the filet mignon was delicious and buttery. Also had a Blue Hawaiian cocktail that was delicious.

Food was good, a little salty. Service was excellent our waitress was awesome. Love the ambiance at Kobe's. Thank you.

Came here for a friends birthday! What a fun spot with singing, dancing and good sushi. Had the spicy tuna over crispy rice and it was yummy! Well done for a fun night for all. Singers were passionate and entertaining.

The staff is great. We had a 8:30pm reservation as it was the closest reservation online to our preferred 7pm time slot. We arrived early and checked in at 7:05pm and stated we would wait until 8:30pm reservation for a Teppan table with Jesus. If they could get us at a table with Jesus earlier, that would be great. We would be at the bar area and have drinks while we wait. About 6 minutes later, they sat us at a Teppan table. The staff made us so happy. Jesus was great. My Second visit with Jesus. First time was in September 2024 to treat my best friend. This time to treat my brother, sister and nephew. The show was amazing. My Nephew is very picky and he said it's the best Lobster he ever had and want to come back soon. My Family was happy and that made me very happy. My brother and I had the Rib Eye and it was delicious. My Best Friend was sad because I went without him. Which means we will be back soon. Thank you so much friendly Kobe staff and thank you Jesus.
