Went with family of four. Sat in the bar are.Ordered apps, drinks and food. Place was not to busy, and only one bartender working.Drinks were good. Our apps and food came out sporadically. Aps ordered first and then a bit later we placed the food order. Chile (food order) and apps arrived. Then other meals arrived at different times.Asking for water refills were slow or forgotten.The food tasted good. (Chile, BBQ pork sliders, kobe burger, quesadilla)We're usually never in a rush as we visit during our time, but just odd on how the food came out. The place has a good vibe and plays decent music not so load you can't hear each other.4-stars for how long the food took.

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Upscale-casual eatery with nice variety and friendly staff. Met up for an early dinner with some friends and we had a great time. One of the friends lives in the area and is a regular, so he suggested the spot. I was a bit early so got a house Sauvignon Blanc at the bar while waiting for the rest of the party. Once everyone arrived and were seated, I got a cheese quesadilla and the shrimp and crab ceviche. The tortilla chips were perfect for scooping up the ceviche--not too thick or thin. The cheese quesadilla was fine, but nothing spectacular. I forget what everyone else had but w they all enjoyed their food as well. Our server was very nice and accommodating, and we had a great visit. I'm down for a repeat visit any time!

Knolls might not seem alluring because it's in the middle of a strip mall, but we had heard good things and decided to check it out on a whim one Saturday night. First thing we noticed is that the place is much bigger than it looks from the road and is really nicely laid out and decorated with some very high-end touches such as glass walls. The menu was surprisingly extensive and had some really great selections, it took a while to whittle down our selections, which is a really fun problem to have. Everything we got from the dirty martinis to espresso martinis to appetizers and entrees was VERY well-prepared and delicious!We learned while we were there that they have a live band every night, which is extremely unique and interesting. There was an air of familiarity with the various patrons, which made it seem like they have a lot of regulars - another good sign.Even though it was a packed Saturday night we found two seats at the bar and our server, Nick, was super attentive, friendly and fun. We'll definitely be back to this hidden gem and recommend you give it a try!

The decor is nice, it is very spacious and never seems too busy. The cocktail menu has lots of interesting options, so for drinks I recommend dropping by. But both times I've been here I've been very underwhelmed by the food. The menu is pretty standard pub food where the fried items taste like breading and only the dipping sauces have any flavor. The staff is friendly and they do have TVs if you want to sit at the bar for a game. Or if you have a large group and need enough room for everyone, this could be a good option.

Went to a BMW model reveal at Long Beach BMW which usually consists of a dinner buffet with open bar (gratis); however, this time it was just hor deurves so we busted that joint and I found this gem via Google...Restaurant was packed so we opted to sit outside where there was plenty of seating but no working heat lamp (was starting to get chilly). We were promptly greeted and served. Made it in time for happy hour so had the hummus app and a couple glass of house cab (both delish).I ordered the turkey brie and pear sandwich with a side salad and vin for my entree and my BFF ordered the cuban sandwich with fries. Both were very good and good sized portions! Did not opt for dessert as we were too full. Definitely a fun, classy yet casual place and would love to patronize this place again!

I have been going to the Knolls since they opened and have enjoyed most visits. Recently went for dinner with a friend on a Tuesday night and when we asked what Chardonnays they had, found out they only had one bottle of Kendall Jackson. The server had no explanation on why a restaurant their size would only have one bottle of wine for customers. She didn't know when more was going to arrive. The food was good and the restaurant was not very busy. We did ask if maybe the owner was in the process of selling and she did not know. I hope this was just a fluke and next visit will be better.

The food is very well served in a more than average size portion. Very tasty and well prepared without too much over seasoning. Only thing is that the vegetables overcooked broccoli just doesn't taste right over cooked sorry. We both had a cup of the pozole and it was very good and filling, sorry I forgot to take a picture to include but I don't believe you would be disappointed tastes authentic only thing they could have served it with maybe some tortilla chips to compliment the way it served, it was served with on the side shredded cabbage and diced onions. The short rib is $28.95 and is a very good size serving with the fair serving of mashed potatoes the vegetables were overcooked but it was acceptable enough to eat it. The fish and chips are enough for two people if you just want to have something to get you by but it would be too much of a meal to eat for one person for sure $23.95. We went on a Monday night around 7:00 and it was a small crowd nice and quiet few people at the bar eating and having a few drinks service was fast waiter was polite. Nice ambience for someone that wants to stop by for a few drinks at the bar and or have a bite as well with the sports on the TV.

I am beyond dissatisfied! I ordered salmon dinner. Salmon was over cooked ! Sent it back and it came back worst! No flavor and hard! I've been here several times and at this point I'm not sure about eating dinner here. Lunch is better. My daughter had fish n chips. Her fish was bad too! No salt and taste like pure cooking oil. Service was good. But that's about it

Great eatery in our neighborhood. I especially enjoy the seared ahi salad. Love that they have a varied menu so that there's great choices for everyone in our family.

Stopped in on a Wednesday night. They have TVs to watch sporting events. Indoor, outdoor and bar seating. Since this was a very late dinner, it was not crowded. The server was very friendly and checked on us frequently. The Lobster Max and cheese was a little bland for my taste( needed the addition of salt and pepper). The garlic fries were AMAZING and made with real garlic. The turkey sandwich was also good and even better the next day ( couldn't eat the whole sandwich). Street parking is available on Atlantic and neighboring side street. I will defiantly return during their happy hour 4-7pm.
