Kitchen’s Corner BBQ

I saw a review that @latryguy recently did from a food truck in Compton, California. So I was recently in Pico Rivera so I decided to drive to Compton and have some barbecue!!! With the traffic it took me approximately 40 minutes to get there and with the line another 15 minutes to place the order. now I will say the gentleman taking the order was super kind and personable. He took his time explaining the different options and when I told him about the review I had saw on social media he even threw in a complementary side. While I was waiting, he offered to have me try a cornbread muffin that was not included with my meal and I will say it was very good.Onto the food ....when the meal was $90 and there was only a Dino rib, three pork ribs, two pieces of chicken, one hotlink, four slices of brisket along with two sides I do think that's a little pricey!!! oh I forgot about the rolls.The sides that we selected were mac & cheese and the greens. The side that was given to me, complementary was the candid yams.. now I will say this.... the mac & cheese was some of i've had!

This is my first time trying this place. I've got the brisket and baked beans. It was so good! . I highly recommend this business. It was a little bit busy today. But I didn't mind waiting which was about 15 to 20 minutes. But you have food that is fresh. This is not fast food. This is soul food.!!

This place is good the food just melts in your mouth. If you haven't tried it you should at least one's and you will be going back for more

Came here on a Friday. Been trying to get this BBQ for a while but the line is usually really long. Luckily I came on Friday at a great time. No line, instantly walked up and ordered. I got the Try Guy meal. Unfortunately they were out of chicken, but I asked if I can replace it with turkey and they did. The gentleman working that day were so nice, helpful and patient. I also got to sample the gumbo for that day which was also good. The meat was tender full of flavor. The worker was honest and said we wouldn't need the sauce, very true! Definitely had leftovers for the next few days. I would definitely recommend this place and come back.

Saw the promo for 3 meats and 3 sides for $30 on and decided to check out the LA location. When we arrived, we were told it was actually 3 meats and 2 sides, and the total came out to $35. Just a heads-up for anyone expecting the deal as advertised. The BBQ was decent--not the best I've had but still enjoyable. Hope they can clarify their promotions in the future because transparency builds trust. Wishing them success!

Best BBQ I've had in a long time!!!! The service was great, but try not go on a Sunday after church the line will long but it's worth the wait! Excellent and delicious BBQ..

Top BBQ in the area. They always have a long line during mid-day so before it opens or after 3pm its the best time to come with usually 10+ or so people in line. I always get the 3 meat combo with ribs, hot link and brisket which was excellent. The entire plate was fire! They also have turkey legs, oxtails, chicken and sometimes i see fish on the menu.. The best you'll find around town and davidlee is one of the nicest people i met! Very friendly and helpful. I came from far away to enjoy this. If you come at 4-5pm its risky because they run out of items and its expected due to the volume of customers they get! The LA Times recently did a review on this place. It is well worth a visit. The best BBQ I have had in California. Frankly, one of the best BBQs I have ever had, and I spend a lot of time in Texas. It is well worth the visit for the food. On weekends, get there early because they run out of menu items early.

FOOD is Amazing!!!The Flavor is like NONE other!!!This place makes Lucille's BBQ to shame! And the GREENS are AMAZING!!!!Once you come here.... You will never go to another!!!!
