During the holidays, I took my giant foster dog to a road trip down South. We stayed in Long Beach and had dinner at Kin Long Beach. The restaurant has an enclosed patio that is dog friendly with more than a handful of tables. It is within walking distance of the nearby beaches and hotel chains. I ordered a variety of vegetarian and seafood options with curry. The food was solid and delicious. While they do not have a pet specific menu, they do have items that are dog friendly. I ordered some steamed broccoli and boiled plain chicken for Thor (Total was about $13) and he had a feast by the beautiful buddhas and patio decor. The restaurant also provided Thor with a doggie bowl too. This price point is quite reasonable when I've been to other restaurants that charged me an entree for Thor even though it was only boiled meat.

Chanced upon this place while looking for good Thai food in Long Beach. So glad we did! Food was excellent. Started with Papaya salad- overall tasty except for the lettuce. Mango curry with soy nuggets was SO good! So was the drunken noodles (add some greens perhaps). I loved the food- only would've liked to see more basil, and some more green herbs in most if their food. Ambience was quite nice and a good 4/5. And the waitress although really nice initially, took offense to our canceling a fried rice order(they didn't do veg friend rice and it was gonna cost extra to omit chicken n eggs n sub for veggies in the one available) in favor of plain rice. So after that we were pretty much on our own. That was a bummer- cause working with customers is service . Didn't quite understand the attitude. All said, I'd still give it a 5 and go back. I just hope the management adds a veg fried rice to the menu and encourages positive interaction in service.

Popped in after a performance at Fingerprints. Let me say.. the interior does not match the dark exterior upon arrival. Their chandeliers and lights added a modern and intimate vibe. Good date spot if you're in LB! We split their bang bang shrimp (the star of tonight), panang curry, and pad thai with chicken. There wasn't anything that stood out but still a lovely restaurant with helpful waiters and waitresses and delicious food.

The food here was surprisingly good! I liked the crab fried rice and salt and pepper calamari. Those are the two must-get dishes. My friend and I could not get enough of the salt and pepper calamari. Perfect flavor and I liked the dipping sauce. They didn't skimp on the crab for the fried rice; it was also delicious. The larb salad was okay, but I wouldn't get it again. Service was okay, most of the servers were friendly, one of them wasn't.There's a huge parking lot in front of the restaurant, so no worries there.

I like Kin Long Beach, especially the ambiance! The staff is attentive and friendly. The bathrooms are clean too. This time I ordered the black pepper chicken and mango curry. I liked the mango curry, just wished it had a few more mango chunks. The medium is plenty spicey. Be careful of the peppers in there! The black pepper chicken looked interesting but wasn't anything to write home about. It sort of felt like a dish you'd order at a Chinese restaurant. If I was drinking alcohol, I'd try one of their cocktails!

One of the best Thai spots I've been to in Socal and needs more attention. The prices and portions are really fair and good. The service was amazing too, they're super kind and attentive. The restaurant is well decorated and has dim lighting for a mysterious feel. I need to go back soon, loved everything we ordered! ig: @cravingswithcat

Busy place on a Sunday evening! We took seats at the bar versus waiting for 20 minutes (only 6pm). A bit loud but service was great (in the past it's been middling). Broke out of our usuals and got the Salmon Curry and Garlic Noodles with Shrimp. Both delicious especially the Salmon with the yellow curry. We got medium spicy and it was perfect. Some bean sprouts and noodles too but order a side of rice to get more of the sauce to drench. The Garlic noodles were flavorful and you get 4-5 good size shrimp. Beware that shells still on. Good reasonable prices.

I loved: Pad Thai I really liked:Pad see ew Tom khá seafood I liked:Tom yum This was ok:Thai iced tea Solid Thai #goodeats relatively close to the convention center. I think my spice tolerance is getting up there, or all the spicy things here weren't that bad Decent flavor, portions, and presentation. The Thai iced tea is kinda a bait tho, the ice tea popsicle just looks pretty but doesn't do anything for the flavor of the drink. Service was pretty solid but know that they won't call your phone and will only shout your name inside the restaurant. The interior is decorated nicely but not all the tables have good lighting so we had to bring our own. It's a relatively loud resturant as well. Sometimes it was hard to hear people with 6 in our party.
