The food was ok.. I ordered fish , shrimp, oxtails with potato salad, mac n cheese, yams,baked beans ,greens,and peach cobbler..$80.00 total for all ...My daughter said the oxtails , greens,& baked beans was good ..my fish & shrimp is as good but the potato salad had NO flavor , the yams tasted canned with no flavor ,the mac n cheese was decent the peach cobbler was. NOT good and sweets are my drug of choice I was very upset because I know everyone can't make a good peach cobbler ..We waited 1 1/2 for our food I had three orders ...next year if y'all come back to the Taste of Soul get it together ..The lady in the back was mean and looked mad at the world..The cashier was pretty and nice ....The Hispanic or Caucasian lady was confused but nice ...

Waited an hour in line and the only dinner they had they couldn't accommodate making the two sides Greens. Will definitely avoid in the future!

Saw Kgirls in long beach and stopped to get some chicken tenders and fries.. the chicken tenders are SO good! Definitely recommend. I'm sure everything else is just as tasty. The girl working the window was super sweet. And the array of hot sauces was on point.

Saw K girls at an elementary carnival. I was pleasantly surprised to see them there and the food did not disappoint. It was really good. I had fried chicken, mac n cheese and greens. I also had oxtails, rice, yams and greens. I tried the seafood rolls as well. Let me tell you the oxtails were so good and tender. I will be on the look out for this truck because good soul food in long beach is sparse. Service was great even though I was looking skeptical she assured me it would be good and she was right. Can't wait to have them again.

I got to say these are by far the best Hot dogs I have ever had. I came back to get more because the meat was delicious and the buns were so good they melted in myMouth , trust me it's worth the drive to the beach to get the food they sell.

New food truck alert!!!! I found this truck located in the beach parking lot on Long Beach. The owner was friendly! These ladies have a huge selection for all of your cravings! There's also vegan options!!! Deserts & snacks to grab & go. Check them out!! It's a vibe....grab you some good food & chill on the beach. Hot & fresh made to order food is waiting for u!!!

First time trying this truck and it did not disappoint. Located in the parking lot for Junipero Beach , it's definitely a must stop for oxtail at the beach. If you prefer, everyone around me is ordering the fried chicken plate so thats my next try when i come back

I am a true foodie . Please try Kgils Katering for your next service. They promptly showed up to a 40th bday. I had the Fish & Shrimp w/ macn cheese yams and an Hawaiian roll. Food was really good . But what also stood out was the POSITIVE ENERGY!!! Excellent customer service ( Patience) . I wish them success.

the shrimp tacos are FIRE!!! So so good- thought i wasn't hungry but it was gone before i could blink. Thank you!!

This food truck parks in Long Beach daily and blasting music until 10 PM. We have to listen to their music all day every day! They disturb nearby residents with no regard for the neighborhood they are disturbing. It's so inconsiderate and disrespectful to the people who have to live wherever this truck decides to park. There is no reason for the music to be blaring so loudly that it can be clearly heard and the bass thumping inside our homes. I'm hoping the owners see this and lower the volume so we can enjoy our homes and I can update my review. Update: 3 months later and music is still blasting. Filing a noise complaint with the city and marine department since they did not respect us asking them to turn it down. AT LEAST park on the east end of the parking lot where there are not residential buildings!
