Kay & Jay's Fried Fish & Chicken

This is by far the best fried fish and shrimp I've had in a long time! It was great value as well. I got the Lunch Special which includes 2 pieces of fish, 6 breaded shrimp, fries, bread roll, 1 hush puppy, and can of soda. The sides include fries, coleslaw, hush puppies, and macaroni salad. I chose to go with fries. And for $12, I was left satisfied and full!Also, their customer service is outstanding! They took my order fast, and kept me updated on how long it would take for my food to be ready. They also went ahead and let me know that if I wanted to avoid the wait to simply order by calling ahead and they can have the food ready by the time I arrive. This is especially true when ordering their family packs since it's all cooked to order those can take a little while more but the wait is worth it! The ambiance is nice, as there is enough parking in the shopping center to stop and pick up your food. Or if there's seating available you can eat right there at the truck too as they have a small counter to do so. You've gotta definitely try it if you're in the area. I also have tried their chicken wings and that was also very delicious! They don't lie, for a fairly new food truck they are definitely up there with best fried fish and chicken in South LA!
