Jr. Mex

Food: 2.5/5. The food is semi okay. The burrito is much smaller and expensive. We got a couple of chicken burritos and it was okay. The tostadas salad wasn't too bad and the crispy tacos wasn't even crispy. Service: was good, nothing to complain about.

Where to start, wow. Let's have a moment of silence for how bad this place sucks. It's so expensive for trash slopped together food. Rice was all hard and left out. Tacos, tiny. Barely any meat got 4 tacos and taqitos with rice and it was $50. Wtf. Lol. The kid working was 13 years old. Trash food. Go to nicks. Better.

My GF and I had a great takeout experience here. I haven't been to SuperMex in awhile and was glad we got food here. We walked into SuperMex next door and was pleased to find out they had a takeout side to make things easier. I got their half size carne asada burrito which actually ended up being huge and became two meals. You can make any burrito a wet burrito which made it all so much better. There was lots of meat, it was stuffed, and lots of flavor. Yummy. My girlfriend got a taco combo which she also loved. They even gave us a whole thing of salsa which was really good. Not sure why the low ratings. We did have to wait 15 minutes for our food but we got the heads up. We would absolutely come back.

Absolutely horrific. This location used to be good. But it's gone downhill big time. I think this is the last time we'll pick up food from here. I usually order the whole wheat chicken burrito which has "Shredded Chicken, Green Rice, Lettuce and Frijoles de la Olla (Inside). Topped with Sauce, Cheese and Guacamole." What I got was a dry as the Sahara wheat burrito shell with chicken, regular rice, and refried beans (that were undercooked and hard/crunchy). It was awful. My husband's meal was undercooked, with crunchy refried beans and crunchy undercooked chile relleno. My mom got food poisoning from her burrito. Only my dad came away unscathed from the meal.

I am such a fan of Super Mex, so I decided to stop in at Jr.Mex because I was craving Mexican food after being sick for a couple of days. (Wanting Mexican food is when I know that I am feeling better) Jr. Mex is the place for great takeout food and is the little sibling of the larger dine in Super Mex restaurants. You can order anything from the full restaurant menu for takeout. I ordered the 4 Taquito Plate (beef) which comes with rice, beans, sour cream, guacamole and chip & salsa. It was a short 10ish minute wait for my order. Got my food home hot, fresh and ready to plate. I really enjoy Jr Mex because the food has always been consistent and I love that it is packaged well so that the meal doesn't become a big mess on the way home. I've tried several of these locations and this is my favorite, although the service could be a little friendlier. Minus one star because the cashier on 12/14/18 handed me my drink overflowing the top of the lid and running down the sides and appeared to be bothered when I asked for napkins to clean it up. She literally stood there watching me before I gave her the look. Only then, did she offer to pour some out and wipe the cup. (Insert my eye roll here)

THEY DONT VALIDATE FOR PARKING FOR JR MEX!!!!Don't believe the signs in the parking lot, even though the sign states validated parking for jr mex. Don't even ask, they have a sign in the pick up area stating they don't validate, validation only if you "dine in". I was told by the girl behind the counter there was parking for jr mex pick up but couldn't find it anywhere in the lot. Goodbye Super Mex, it was good knowing you.. I don't know why I cheat on Coco Renos???? Never again!!!

Really expensive, they raised the prices. Also I ordered and paid for a side of guacamole and didn't receive it

Ordered from Emily at the Cherry location. Everything I ordered was backwards. She was very non apologetic. You are better off ordering from del taco, at least they understand what you are ordering. Never will visit this location again. And Del Taco food is 100 percent better than this location.

Today I was charged almost twice the normal price for there food. I always get the whole chicken family meal. They might forget utensils sometimes or salsas no biggie. But the foods good. Special says whole chicken whole rack of ribs around 35 38 dollars and that's after taxes after buying maybe 10$ in snacks In drinks I'm wondering how the F**k if the total 75 but I paid without doing the math once realizing it I called but they don't do returns once you've gotten the food. In all horrible experience not going back for the prices and portions...

Used to love Super Mex and Jr Mex their takeout shop. Hadn't been there in over a year so I decided to order one of my favorites Carnitas nachos. Well, price was almost $19 for nachos. I always order a side of the red sauce to go with it. Well red sauce is not the same, very bitter and a side order was a very small cup. The cook forgot to put the refried beans on the nachos so it was a container of chips, some burnt along the edge, dry carnitas, a few jalapeños melted cheese and a small plop of guacamole. Absolutely tasteless and by far not even close to being worth the $18 charge for take out. I did call and a very nice young lady offered for a replacement but by that time I was not getting back in the car and driving down there. El Pollo Loco $5 nachos better by far. Super Mex no more.
