I got the (2) rolled taquitos and (3) beef tacos dorados. Everything was freshly made and hot! Service was good and fast. Personally, I like the salsas with a little more kick.

The crunch and the look of the chicken taco took me back 40 years ago. But the taste was not the same, the chicken was not the same as I remember. The girls working the counter n in the kitchen were so sweet!!! I wish I had enjoyed it like my youth, I'll give it another try maybe some other time.

So I stopped by as I had some time to kill around the area my buddy suggested this place . Let me tell you this place is smackiiiiiiin the chili verde burrito tasted like my grandma made it ! I also got a shredded beef hard taco super fire . The service is good to inside it's pretty small so I suggest ordering to go . You won't go wrong as far as authentic Mexican food looks like they got some abuelitas cooking in the back .

The crispy chicken tacos here are the best I've ever had! They are reasonably priced and quite large. The hot salsa that they have is really good also. I smother these tacos in the sauce and go ham. Chicken tacos come topped with cheese, lettuce and tomato. Add some salt and it's crack-a-lackin!I ordered 50 of these bad boys ahead of time and got them in 40 minutes. This is a small, family owned business, and I have moved away from gardena, but still come here for the chicken tacos.It's small with limited seating so I have always ordered for take out.

Grew up eating at this place and man it never disappoints. My favorites are the crunchy chicken tacos, chicken taquitos and the super nachos. Today we got the super burrito - it was massive! Service was quick since we just missed the lunch rush. There are a couple of tables inside, but I usually just eat it in my car. Josie's is always a 10/10 and one of my favorite places to eat when in the area.

This spot has great specials and great food! I stopped by before bible study today to get something quickly before they closed. They have weekly specials, and today (Wednesday) was the Wet Burrito special for $9.99. This place close so early at 6:00pm I finally made it there early to catch it open so I decided to get two soft taco and burrito ( asada) I added some onions and cilantro in it the only thing messed it up was they put salsa in it and they salsa have tomato I was mad about that and they put to much damn beans in it and less meat lol they meat have a nice taste to it . The people who work there very nice and friendly and the inside very nice and clean and they keep outside clean also they have very nice customer service skills . If I was in the neighborhood again I will stop by and grab something

My favorite is the crispy chicken tacos. Service is good. Ambience is casual. Mostly to go orders but they have 2 or 3 small tables for dine in.

I've been coming to Josie's for over 25 years. Back in those early days, you could always get decent food for good pricing. As the years went by, the prices would steadily go up, and the quality of the food would steadily decline. There would be periods where I would not visit because of this, but I would always wind up going back. They used to sell bottled soda, and switched to a fountain drink machine. The machine rarely works and is always out of order. I even noticed months would go by, and that the machine was never fixed (yet, there's a notice that they will charge tax on refills). I mention this as an example to showcase the upkeep of the business. I always order the same thing (shredded beef tacos, medium fried) each time, and only half the time would it be cooked how I asked. Most of the time, there is hardly any meat in the tacos, and the meat would appear reheated and tough with crispy or burnt ends. It was actually rare I would get fresh meat. I would get slivers of a tomato, and a pile of lettuce. It might as well have been called a lettuce taco. Yet still, my silly behind would keep returning because I would be too lazy to cook.There was also an incident where I was sitting inside waiting for my food. One of the pictures hanging on the wall fell off the wall and onto my back. Did I sue? No. Did I get free food? No. All I received was a standard apology. Yet again, silly me still kept returning for mediocre food.I have finally reached the final straw and I will no longer be returning. A few days ago, I ordered the typical shredded beef tacos and asked for them to be medium fried. As you can see in the pictures, I received completely burnt shells. How do you even think this is appropriate to serve to someone? You could literally taste the burnt taste with each bite. Most of the shell was not edible because it was to tough to chew and I had to keep breaking it off. Now silly me spent $50+ for this. If I had had the time, I would have asked for this to be redone. I've had to do this in the past (but as you can see, I still kept returning). People do not have money to waste like this. The food is already overpriced for the quality you receive. I will be seeking a refund and considering this place a memory.I also encourage looking up the health violations with LA County, despite this place having a rating of an 'A'. Although minor violations, it's enough for me to definitely discourage a recommendation.
