John's Diner

First time coming here since living here for over 17 years. Should have came here sooner. Food was excellent and good portions. Staff was great and friendly. This place is bigger than it looks, great for large groups too.

John's Diner is exactly what you think it would be except it's a lot more expensive than what you expect. It's definitely one of those spots you crave when you're hungover, that serves fried foods like fries and zucchini, cheese burgers, and greasy breakfasts. I had the french dip, my go to sandwich in life, and it was fine, nothing special but was shocked how expensive it was. I should note the ajus didn't taste like real ajus. Part of the appeal of a greasy spoon, is the price and honestly, the quality of the food doesn't justify the price. I don't see myself returning. That being said, employees are friendly enough and keep the spot clean and comfortable.

Service: It was mildly packed during lunch time but I was able to order fairly quickly. Also, this place brings your food to your table, which was convenient.Food: The food was decent, I ordered the Charbroiled Chicken sandwich with a side of fries. I really liked the flavor of the chicken, it was charbroiled and it showed in the taste. However, the fries were lacking flavor.Price: I spent $12.00 with no soda (I don't drink soda) which is completely normal for this type of food and area.

Stopped here after getting in town for a quick breakfast, and was pleasantly surprised with the options. I got their breakfast burrito with bacon, and my friend for their French toast. The serving size for both options were more than we were expecting for the price...and they kept the coffee coming and hot!

Only giving it one star for this review in particular, in regards to this breakfast item. It's not the first time it has happened when either I or anyone in my family has ordered a breakfast burrito. This time was my mother's burrito today. She ordered a potato and egg burrito. It turned out to be about 90% potatoes and practically one egg, which you can hardly even see in this picture. And the egg ended up on one end of the burrito. I've previously ordered the breakfast burrito which generally includes potato and egg, and I've added a breakfast meat, such as bacon or sausage. The same would end up in my burritos, with about 85-90% potato, and barely any meat. For the price and size of the burrito I expect better quality in preparing an easy dish like this.

They have a sign inside the restaurant that says no outside food or beverage. Not knowing that, my first visit, I walked in with my friend to order some breakfast with my coffee in a travel mug. An old man tapped me on the shoulder and then tapped the sign. I just turned around and walked out. Never to eat there ever. Nor my friends or family. I have been to many eateries that you could bring your own beverages or even dessert without a second thought. I do hope this policy is worth it to John's.

We just love John's the food is great as well as the service too! Everyone is so friendly and you get a great meal at a reasonable price every time. Breakfast all day too. Try the burgers all are very good and my personal favorite is the chicken fried steak and eggs. They also have an extensive Mexican food menu that includes some outstanding Carne Asada tacos and chicken tacos too. You order your food and sit down they bring right to your table and refill your coffee and drinks. Don't forget a small tip for the server they will take great care of you. 5 Stars all the way!

Breakfast burrito s are flavored well. Love their salads- ample sized.Desserts are yum. We have enjoyed JJohn 's for decades. Large menu to choose if you want to share or eat again for dinner. Everyone treats us well.

We recently moved to the area and saw that John's is having BBQ Sundays so we decided to give it a try. it was absolutely delicious! my family and I will definitely be going back to try the burgers and breakfast! Everything looks absolutely amazing and the staff were kind and quick. The restaurant was clean and the service was great considering it was pretty busy. We took our order to go and our family was happy and fed :)

You can count on the food being good! They have such a selection that it's nice to go with a group because everyone gets what they want. We have also had great service, at least once, every visit, a staff member will come by to check on us. You really can't ask for anything more.
