John Que's Smokeout

They were so nice! SO incredibly nice and it was really easy to set up. They also came almost 30 minutes early which was very nice as well. I ordered brisket/burnt ends, chicken, mac and cheese, beans, and coleslaw. They also gave us some bread and salad which was great. You may be wondering why I only gave three stars...the food to me was just okay. The brisket was very tough and I was unable to eat the burnt ends as they were not tender and I was afraid of losing a bracket from my braces. Also the mac and cheese was underdone and the cheese was not melted so I had to put it in the oven to get it to finish cooking.The chicken was really good as well as the beans. I was really looking forward to the brisket so I was really bummed.

Highly recommend this family-owned small business! They provided amazing customer service and their pulled pork sandwich was to die for It was so good that it was on my brain all day! The fam tried their hot links and hot dog too and they gave it an okay review. After getting a little bite off my pulled pork sandwich, they wished they had ordered the same

We had John Que's cater at work and wowwweee y'all! The food and service was incredible! They bring the taste of the South to Los Angeles with the hospitality to match! Their mac and cheese is so delicious. Everything looked so good that I wish I took a photo but I was too excited to dig in! Thank you John Que's!

John Que catered our company appreciation lunch today and the food we so tastey. They brought their own smoker, and you can smell the food a mile away. The meats were moist, and the sides were all very flavorful. Below is our menu, and I highly recommend everything. - Pull pork sandwich - Brisket - SalmonSides - BBQ black beans - Mac n Cheese - Cole slawAND - John makes his own BBQ sauce mild and spicy. It was so delicious that I purchased two bottles (available on Amazon). He is very responsive, accommodating, professional, and provides excellent customer service. If you are having a family function, party, or just want a good bbq cookout get-together, this is definitely worth trying. Huge plus - he can come to where you are hosting.

We had them catered at work today, they cooked and served us Smoked Turkey, brisket and Salmon for the mains. Green beans, Mac & Cheese and mash potatoes & gravy for the sides also had cornbread. Additionally they had some yummy bbq sauce for the meats called butt naked bourbon bbq sauce which you can get on Amazon it was really good with the brisket. Overall all the foods were yummy my fav was the salmon and Mac & Cheese. If you ever get a chance to try them.

Being a BBQ spot, I didn't expect them to have any options I could eat, but they had a Beyond burger on the menu which was amazing - one of the best preparations I've had for a Beyond burger in the 5 years I've been vegan. I added some of the hot homemade BBQ sauce which complimented the burger really well. Definitely recommend this spot!

We booked John Que's Smokeout for a work event and it was a HIT! Our team absolutely loved the delicious food, especially the mac & cheese and peach cobbler. We were so glad that they offered vegan food alternatives as well. Coordinating the event details with them was also a breeze! I will definitely be recommending John Que's Smokeout for future events.

These guys are the greatest. I hired them to cater our wedding on 09/23/23 and it was one of the best decisions we made! Not only was the BBQ incredible (everyone kept talking about it!), but John was so fantastic to work with leading up to the event and couldn't have been nicer. He was responsive, and so open and available for questions and help. He and his team exceeded every expectation I had and I couldn't have been more thrilled with the whole experience. And seriously, the BBQ is the best I've had! Thanks John!!

I had John Que's cater a staff lunch for my office and it was amazing! Communication was very easy as was booking. Monique and Terrance were onsite the day of and made the day go very smoothly. They were extremely helpful and accommodating. Not only was the food delicious, they also gave us some leftovers. I would highly recommend and will be booking them again in the future!
