Ordered ribs and brisket combo.. I did enjoy the spicy bbq sauce but felt the meats were not seasoned enough. Probably wouldn't eat there again..

Well Well well, first off, is this bbq better than anything you ever had? Don't think so. Where do I begin to rate this garbage place? My ribs were 1 inch thick and 1 inch wide. Skinny ribs to say the least. The audacity to charge 25 bucks for this is just insanity. Not even Lucille's or any other place would charge this much for 3 skinny ribs that were consistent with a rubber chew toy from pet smart. They didn't even have napkins. Wtf. I felt like a was bent over backwards and too it straight the back door with no lube. If you want to be disappointed, this IS the place. Over priced bbq. Can't believe monkish allows this place to pair with their amazing beer. Pulled pork had all fat on it too. Worst bbq I have ever ate hands down. I'm still angry I spent 50 bucks!!

Went to a Pop up shop and they were the only food choice. Went and got something called a munchies plate. Literally just a brisket sandwich with beans and nothing else for $25. Way overpriced for suck a small amount of food. 2 people would spend $50 for the same thing. Never again. The food was alright.

Best BBQ around for sure!! I've tried it all and there is anything I don't like. The Smokey flavor of the meats is bomb! The Mac N Cheese, Baked Beans, and Potato Salad never disappoints. His new cornbread is moist and delicious!!! Joey is super friendly and always hooks me up with his delicious BBQ!! Definitely recommend Joeys BBQ Spot if you love BBQ!!

Absolutely delicious. And super friendly. I've never been a big fan of bbq or ribs, or anything like that. But after tasting a rib given to me out of the kindness of their heart to sample, I have been hooked. The rub is amazazazing. His ribs are so flavorful and tender. Same with the pulled pork, pork belly, etc. (all things I don't usually eat) Completely changed my mind and made me a believer. They do have a lot of pop up events and I try to make it to as many as I can. They're definitely worth a follow on Instagram with their drool worthy pics and info on their pop up events. @joeysbbqspot1 I know they're a staple at the Wilmington Farmer's Market, and if I didn't have to work I'd probably be there picking up something delicious. If you like flavorful smoked meats that are just as delicious with or without bbq sauces, definitely give them a try.

Everything here is delicious! The brisket and ribs are my favorite! Make sure to get to the pop up early they tend to sell out. This BBQ has so much flavor not just salt and pepper.

This was f*cking delicious. He keeps the mac and cheese in the smoker to keep it warm so its got a really nice smokiness to it. Brisket was so mfing tender that sh*t was falling apart. Incredible. Food was just delectable. Had us shaking in our boots fr. ​Dude was so cool too. Great f*cking vibes. great f*cking food. F*ck.
