Jinsol Tofu House

Buena Park, CA - a little Korean neighborhood in Orange County / LA area is where good Korean food can be found! The restaurant is located inside a Korean mall, The Source OC, on the 3rd floor outside the food court. When we went it was under another name in the other entrance that they had so for a while we were confused. So glad we found it because we were about to just settle with the food court lol. A wide selection of dishes to choose from. There's also a private room for larger groups and enough space and tables otherwise to accommodate if the private room is taken. We had a group of 12 people including kids and there was no wait for lunch on New Year's Eve. I got to try a bunch of different dishes (off of someone's plate haha). The soon tofu soup with oysters were good, just hope there were more pieces of it. The banchans were all delicious; I like the macaroni salad that sweet and savory. Pork cutlet was fried to perfection. The bulgogi was tender and wasn't too saucy, same for the galbi. The seafood pancake was delicious too, make sure you ask for extra crispy. The rice in the bibimbap in stone pot was crispy, but maybe too crispy at the end so make sure you check it from time to time before mixing it. I guess they had a good quality stone pot!The prices were on the steeper side. $40 per person including tax and tip seemed a little too much for what it was. The check was also all written in Korean and it was difficult to double check what they charged us. Give this place a try if you're in the area!

My first time to this location which they have one in ktown also but the Buena Park location is bigger than the Korea town one. You just can't go wrong with the menu~ the food is authentic Korea bone broth soup and they have many other dishes too. The best is to order the broth soup with their chive pancake. Side order of small braised pork which comes with side of soup. The portions are good and can't miss the side dishes which was delicious ~~~ the service here is okay they're so busy so when you ask for something ask them all at once because it'll take some time to get their attention again. The place is clean and looks like a tradition Korean restaurant. They have outside sitting area too which will be really nice during summer nights! Happy eating!

first time coming here and can't wait to go back everything!!! was super good and the service was quick! i'd recommend the bulgogi but the ribs are also a good choice! pair it w tofu soup and you have an amazing dinner & pretty good food layout loved it here and the people that work here are so nice, thank you for having us!

Nice new place at the source on the third floor. The tofu soup was absolutely amazing. Be prepared to wait a little while for the fresh food to come out. It's a good alternative if you're bored of eating at BCD. I had a combo with the Bulgogi pork which was a small portion, but it did taste pretty good I'll be back...

The Oyster Tofu Soup was so good. Howeverrr... we waited about 20 mins for the bill after we asked for it. And after that another 30+ minutes after they took my card to get it back. The staff only checked in on us once ))):We ended up being here for like an hour and a half because of all the time spent waiting :/

The food was good, wonderful lady taking care of the restaurant and some awesome upbeat songs.

Excellent service and nice environment. Food taste so good . Recommend everyone to at least try once to dine inside . We bought to bring home at least once a lweek

It was our first time walking around The Source OC and we wanted some food. I searched on Yelp to see what others were recommending, and saw that this restaurant had less than 10 reviews. I was a little hesitant but we decided to take a chance. WOW! So glad we chose this restaurant! We ordered the galbi combo with tofu soup. Both were absolutely delicious - full of flavor. The banchan was so good too and paired well with the entire meal.Service was good, server was kind :) Overall, we will be back. Really happy with our experience!

It's a nice tofu house. Tasty menu. With hospitable and attentive server. Will be coming back
