Oldie but Goodie!!!This is a historical establishment for the City of Bell, Jim's is a Legend in the community. If you went to Bell High School, you grew up coming to Jim's during school hours, after school, and after football games. This was the spot after all football games, the pictures on walls say it all... if walls could talk!!!Food and service have always been great! Everything on the menu tastes the same way it tasted 20 years ago, AMAZING!!!The reason for the 4 stars, this is the most expensive Hamburger spot around Bell and surrounding cities. A cheeseburger special is $10.95 plus $0.99 for the slice of cheese (see pic of receipt) !!! Is that slice of cheese imported from a country where cows are happier than California?!?! $11.94 for a Cheeseburger Special!!! Damn... Price Gouging at its Finest!!! I believe in small businesses but not on abusive businesses.

Decided to have breakfast here on a Sunday morning! I grabbed the red chilaquiles and they did not disappoint 4.5/5 I definitely recommend this dish it is so flavorful and perfect serving! Service is good and always so fast as well! Business was flowing and it was busy for a Sunday morning the other breakfast items look delicious I will definitely be returning to try something else.

Used to come here since I was a kid, just moved back and the chili cheese fries aren't the same. Seems like it's missing something. They're ok but not the greatest.

My go-to when in Maywood! Cheap prices for delicious burgers! The employees are welcoming and the restaurant is clean. I also appreciate the fact that their décor is still the original from it's inception, very vintage. I always order the Super Cheese Burger combo. Their burgers are superior to big fast food chains. The fries are warm and crispy as well. Good comfort food! Definitely recommend.

The steal EBT money . Twice to my dad . He went to let them know and acted like nothing. Investigation on going.

Perhaps the best Pastrami sandwich I've had in years. Service inside was great and the staff was nice.

Best cheese burger specials with extra crispy fries and a side of thousands island dressing yummy there chili cheese fries with grilled onions are bomb and steak sandwiches are delicious

My family grew up not too far from Jim's and it's always been one of our go-to places for a quick and reasonably priced bite to eat. It's got a pretty standard menu for one of the "Greek burger joints" , with all sorts and sizes of burgers, a selection of breakfast entrees, some Mexican food, hot sandwiches including a really good pastrami, and more. The best value is one of the burger combo, with your choice of several burgers, fries, and a soft drink. The burgers are huge, and for our family, one order of fries gave us more than all of us could finish. If you can't eat a lot or you need to skimp a little, the junior burger is still bigger than a standard burger at any of the chains.Not a fan of burgers or want to eat healthier? Order the chicken breast salad, which gets you a grilled chicken breast, lots of lettuce and veggies, and toast; Mom loves it and it's enough for her to have two meals.About the only thing on the menu we've been disappointed in is the desserts. They offer chocolate chip cookies and brownies that look wonderful, but the couple of times we've bought them, you could tell they'd been sitting around for a while. Ask the folks at the counter how long ago they were prepared before you buy.Most folks who order from Jim's take their orders to go, but it does have a small dining area if you don't want to wait. Like most independent burger joints, the decor is heavy on dark wood paneling and the walls are full of pictures from high school events the place sponsored over the years; the place is clean and comfortable. If you're looking for good fresh food at a reasonable price, Jim's is a good choice - there's a reason it's still around after 70+ years!

Back again since past review got flagged down because this establishment contacted Yelp and review was removed. I've been a customer for 15 + years and everything has an end! Placed a phone ordered on 10/24 at 6:27 pm simple order cheeseburger to go, I arrived paid for my order now it's 6:53 pm, I asked clerk for status on my order since it was sitting in counter who know how long. I grabbed bag and cheeseburger was cold, I told clerk that burger was cold so cook thuru meat in the griddle to give a warm appearance GTFOH. Arrived home with a soggy appalling burger never again A.T. get your diner in order, In & out will be happy with your customers. A.T. stop being such a cheapskate with this old run down establishment!!

I've been going to Jim's for many years. It has been our go to spot for burgers and chicken sandwiches. You can't beat their great quality and great service they provide. Our new favorite is the double Jr cheeseburger, it's a must try!
