Jim's Birrieria

I ordered one quesataco to try out and I wish I had gotten 2 !! I also ordered the birria ramen it was good. I honestly like this Birria truck more than the others in the area ! Really good flavors, friendly service, good portion, meat is not chewy, and the salsa was delicious - red was spicy and flavorful good! I will definitely be back for more. Thank you Jim for putting love into the food!!

Decided to try the birria tacos and it was a hit. We got tacos, vampiros and you must try the ramen birria cup everything was delicious. Everything was great from food preparation to service. I will be going back!!

One of the best taco truck experiences I've had. The flavor of the birrieria and cut of the meet was superb. The tacos are loaded with meat and you will get your moneys worth. I was super full after eating 3 tacos the first time. This is a one man show and this guy puts us heart and soul into each order. Super cool chill dude. I hope he does super well. There have been overhyped birrieria taco places I've been to before that did not compare to how good Jim's are. That salsa is homemade. The red has a nice spicy and roasted flavor and the green is just overall really good! Can't say enough good things and I will be coming back many more times for my birrieria fix. Give this place a try and you won't regret it.

We tried this place tonight for the first time despite the low review count. We ordered the quesotacos and birria ramen. Everything was delicious. The owner was generous with the meat/limes/cilantro. The meat was tender and not fatty. Definitely a must try and we will be returning.

The truck was in signal hill. In the parking lot by Dave's (time to eat!). Great consommé. Yes, I had a burger from Dave's and Jim's consommé.

Been looking for some good birrieria for some time now. Finally found one that's super tasty!One of the main reason trying this place was the Birrieria Ramen- very simple concept- Ramen noodles in Birrieria consume- but oh so good!So needless to say the taco, taco queso dorado and Birrieria fries were all a hit!Need to also mention their salsa- wife likes the green salsa- great flavor but not too spicy. But the red- spicy and flavorful. King taco red salsa was always my favorite for over 40 years, but Jim's is right up there if not better!So happy to finally find our 'go to' Birrieria place!A little bit of a drive but worth it!

Whittier has plenty of taco stands, trucks, and brick & mortar shops. But not all taco places are created equally. Jim's Birriera is a solo man show that brings all the right flavors, ingredients, and textures. The meat is well-seasoned and soft. It doesn't need salt or anything extra. It can stand alone and that's what sets this place apart from all of the other competitors in this city. The toppings are always fresh. There wasn't any wilted cilantro, onion, radishes, or dry lemons/limes. The salsa is some of the best I have ever had. Red is spicy and packed with flavor. Green is creamy, delicious, and tastes like a wonderful marriage of mild spices, avocado, and lime. The beans are not refried but whole and have just the right amount of salt. They taste like they've been soaked, cooked, and cared for. I've tried the queso tacos, the birriera fries, and the plate that comes with consume. The meat was well portioned in each order placed. All of them have exceeded my expectations and the prices are fair. I love that the meat isn't filled with cartilage pieces and fat. I really hope this truck sticks around because I have just become a weekly regular. Again, it is a one man show and each order is made with care. Be patient. It is worth the wait.

So delicious!! Won't disappoint. Quesadilla was crunchy and not oily. Quesatacos were also amazing. Crunchy and Jim is generous with the meat. The consume hit the spot. Green salsa is fire. Go support Jim. His food is bomb
