Jaws Topokki

Visited Jaws with my momma to fulfill my tteokbokki craving and I wasn't disappointed!Jaws is located on the top level of Source OC in the food court area. They're right next to Gongcha and the bathrooms.My mom and I were assisted by a sweet girl named Bailey who was very patient while I was perusing the menu and trying to figure out what I wanted. My mom and I ended up getting the mild tteokbokki, blood sausage, and the assorted fish cake soup.The stars of the show were the rice cakes themselves and the fish cake soup! The soup was absolutely delicious, a super wonderful balance to the spice of the tteokbokki. My favorite part about their tteokbokki was the rice cake's texture. I've been to a lot of chain locations where the rice cake is really mushy, but these were chewy and delightful.Since it's located inside the food court, they packaged their food in to-go style only -- which I found to be convenient because my mom and I didn't finish and packing up was a breeze! For the two of us, the bill came out to about $42 including tip, so I think the price is pretty reasonable.Definitely recommend giving them a try when you're figuring out what you want to eat :)

location: 4th floor food court at the source parking: the source parking structure what we ordered:*bulgogi kimbap ($10.49): it's a reliable choice! the ingredients are fresh and the bulgogi is seasoned well main takeaway: it's on the more expensive side and portions are not large. I'm intrigued by the rest of the menu so I might try something else next time

We came here at the Source's food court to satisfy my cravings for tteok-bokki (spicy rice cakes). My friend told me about this place, which is one of her favorite places for tteok-bokki and this place did not disappoint!You order at the cashier, they give you a buzzer to let you know when food is ready. We ordered the rose tteok-bokki, tuna kimbap, soondae (Korean sausage/intestine). The spicy rice cakes were soft and chewy, and came with delicious fish cakes and bacon bits. The tuna kimbap was filling, I just wish there were more pieces for the order. The soondae was good too. Honestly, everything tasted great!Overall, prices are decent, credit cards are accepted, and there's plenty of parking (structure) since it's at the mall

One id my go to places at the source and it looks like they have been adding more items to the menu and the wait line was not too bad comparing last couple times I went (but also the food court was not too busy). Got a signature gimbap and a medium fried items and everything tasted good and fresh!

This place is amazing! It's located in the food court at the source OC. I tried the fish cake soup and the portion size was huge! The soup was flavorful, there was plenty of fish cakes inside, and the price was fair! The cashier was nice and the food arrived in a timely manner. I would love to come back here and try the other food!

I ordered the Regular Tokbokki Soup and Korean sausages and they were simple yet so good!!! I can probably try a spice level higher next time!!

This place was super hard to find. They're located on the too floor(3rd floor). The mall doesn't really have a lot of legends. This place is huge too me a while to find the legends which were located next to the escalators. The store is located inside the food court (3rd floor). They have a lot of options. We ended up with 6 rolls but which they had more fermented veggies.The parking lot is free in the parking structure.

Disappointing experience due to lack of communication. Be careful getting delivery from here! I ordered the Gimbap Bento & Fishcake Soup from Doordash, and only the Fishcake Soup arrived. The Gimbap Bento was out of stock but I wasn't notified at all throughout the 35+mins. If I had known, I would have ordered something else to substitute asap since we needed two meals for dinner. Other restaurants in the past have called me or notified me via Doordash. It was also upsetting that I only received a refund after contacting Doordash on my own. Fortunately, the fishcake soup was good, and we have enjoyed their gimbap in the past (we especially like their keto gimbap), hence the two stars.

~ * * GREAT COMFORT FOOD ** ~ (located on the 2nd floor in the food court of The Source, the service is more like a fast food type) I normally get the: - Medium fried set ( fried squid, fried seaweed rolls, fried mandu, & fried sweet potato) - shrimp gimbap w/ wasabi mayo (SO GOOD)- 1/2 Topokkitip: dip the fried set in the topokki sauce it's so yummy!!

i've been to multiple jaws locations and the rose tteokbokki is always a favorite! But i noticed at this location it was lacking compared to others. the sauce is extremely thin and is like a soup, which is the only real issue. But you can't go wrong with the rose tteokbokki with cheese! the two dollars extra for cheese is very worth it!
