Had a lovely experience here. Large space, love the vibe. Beautiful green tiles. Service was great and quick. I came in on a Saturday afternoon and it was very chill. I tried the egg sandwich and the nutty protein shake. I ate it in my car because I was supposed to take it to the beach but I got too excited to wait. I LOVE that the side of fruit was fresh and a nice variety of berrries, banana, melon. Definitely want to return and try some lunch items.

They're onto something. First the yoga studio, then the acai bowls, and finally a cafe that serves healthful foods with quality ingredients. It fulfills the needs of a health-conscious clientele in the neighborhood and complements the Mexican eateries and greasy spoon breakfast joint on the other end of the shopping center.Sandwiches and salads don't impress me easily, because these are concoctions that anyone could put together at home without any culinary skills. However, when I tried their Jan's Classic Sandwich (with chicken breast), I was pleasantly surprised by how well everything came together and the freshness of the ingredients. The pasta salad that came on the side was underwhelming and a bit dry.My wife tried their smoothie, and she enjoyed it. It was unusually pricey, even considering recent inflation and the location cost. The smoothie cost as much as my sandwich.The decor is quite whimsical and captivating. The faux fresco ceiling and the intricate trimming transport the diners from a mundane shopping center. The indoor dining area is quite spacious, and the food came out pretty quickly when it wasn't too busy.Parking is getting tighter in this shopping center now that more popular storefronts are opening up.

This place was such a treat! After a long holiday season where we ate entirely too much shitty food, my sister and I were desperate for a healthier option.We ended up order spring rolls, broccoli cheddar soup, and a turkey sandwich. The turkey sandwich was delicious. It was fresh and had the perfect proportions. We got to choose between chips, fruit and pasta as a side and I enjoyed the pasta side. My sister really enjoyed the tuna spring rolls. I don't like tuna so can't comment much on that. Broccoli cheddar soup was perfect. I think I would've preferred some bread as a side instead of chips though. The shop is adorable and I'll be back!

Think organic sandwiches and fresh plates mixed with a beach surf shop vibes. Food is delicious and service was quick. We enjoyed ourselves at Jan's healthb and blessed they opened a location in Long Beach.

Together with Armando, they prepared food that knocked my socks off.Good eats:-strawberry delight smoothie is decadent yet subtle-chicken salad spring roll is...I honestly have no words, its just straight up delicious! -tuna classic sandwich...talk about bang for your buck!Located at PCH and Loynes, it is the perfect spot for busting your laptop out, post-workout nourishment, and a catch-up with friends.The LB location has only been open for a month and they have it dialed in!

Quick lunch spot in Long Beach with fresh sandwiches, salads, soup and smoothies. The sandwiches were fresh - I liked the addition of sprouts. You can choose between chips, fruit and pasta for your side. We went with the chips but one of the plates had all crushed chips so couldn't eat them. The chunky monkey smoothie was good but missing the honey I think because it didn't have any sort of sweetness. So I guess it was a pretty healthy lunch.

Tried their jans acai bowl and protein bowl. The acai bowl was really big!! They don't have different size options but it was definitely large compared to other acai shops. The acai itself was a little on the blander side but they give a lot of toppings with generous amounts of strawberry, blueberry, and banana. The protein bowl tasted very healthy, I chose the vegan turkey and it was overall filling! I preferred the acai bowl - service is great and food came out fast!

Yes! Jan's is finally in Long Beach and I'm so happy. The hubs and I went opening day. They had a special sneak peek preview of their menu where selected items were available for $5 (limit 2 items per person).The little shop is gorgeous yet very casual. An easy post work out lunch date with your girls kind of place. Definitely will stop by after pilates or jog. Everyone behind the counter was so nice and professional. Tiny lot but didn't have trouble finding a spot.

Do yourself a favor and experience quality food with exceptional service!! Abril makes the most amazing smoothies
