Island Bodega

It was my first time coming to Island Bodega! They have many great bowl options. I got the Dragon Bowl! Customer service was amazing! They also have a small corner with beef jerky & merch, which is so cool! Definitely coming back! :)

This place has been around for a while and they offer tasty island-inspired treats - from acai bowls to smoothies, the flavors are fresh and the fruits and toppings are tasty and delicious.Staff is friendly and courteous - lots of young folks here for their part time jobs. Always nice to support them.The store itself is pretty unclean - tables are sticky, floors have debris and trash, and the chairs all have pieces of fruit and are stained. When we got up out of our seats, 2 of us had old fruit and toppings sticking to us. I know you can't control all previous customers, but the edges of the store and the other chairs we looked at all looked dirty as well.Prices are very high, so be prepared that these are expensive treats.Lots of decent flavor options and combinations otherwise - if it offered better value and the store itself was better maintained, I think this would be a nice place to hang out and catch up with friends.Overall, 50/50. Plenty of delicious island/Asian dessert places nearby to try as well.

I'm back at Island Bodega, and let me tell you, my Dragon Bowl fix is just what I needed! It's been a minute since my last visit, and I can honestly say my body was craving this goodness.The açaí is incredibly fresh and delicious, and the vibrant flavors of the fruit were practically calling my name. Every bite is a burst of health and happiness! The atmosphere is always so inviting, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a nourishing bowl. The staff here is impressive and friendly just to keep me feeling relaxed. If you're looking for a refreshing and energizing treat, definitely check out Island Bodega! Wonderful place for tasty bowls. Super clean place with super friendly staff. Absolutely delicious açaí bowls with fresh, high-quality ingredients and generous portions! The toppings are always fresh, and the flavors are perfectly balanced. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere make this a go-to spot for a refreshing and healthy treat. Highly recommend!

An updated review three years later and Island Bodega still hits! I got their island bowl but modified it to have pitaya instead of acai. Their blue island base is tart yet slightly sweet and pairs amazing with pitaya (also coconut cream base if you want more of an ice cream feel). I always appreciate how fresh their topping bar looks - the fruit is never mushy or a questionable color.

I came down with my friends for the first time and decided to get the dragon bowl, one of their signature bowls and needless to say I was not disappointed. I will definitely be coming back and try the rest of the options. Staff were patient and friendly throughout the whole experience.
