Came here multiple times and food is consistently amazing! Chefs are always on point and you can see them make your food since they have an open kitchen.The inside is very pretty, nicely dimmed, romantic setting--really perfect for any occasions!Came here with a friend last time and she and I both enjoyed our cocktails the one we particularly had was called Uva Bella. For food, we got bruschette assortite which was on happy hour, and of course pasta--we got capellini (angel hair) with vodka sauce. They make the pasta perfectly al dente and you can taste the freshness in everything. Service is also great, we sat at the bar and our food came out in a very timely manner even though we could tell that they were busy.

Kids are not welcomed any where in the bar sitting. Not even the common tables furthest away from the bar stools.Even though I have came plenty of times and witness children younger than my son seated in this area.

Ate here for a company event of 15 people and it was great! The ambiance was very cozy and we got a private room to ourselves. The appetizers were very flavorful and set a great tone for the meal - the dessert was just as impressive, offering a not-too-sweet finish that left me wanting more. The main courses were decent, but they didn't live up to the high expectations set by the starters and the dessert. BUT the drinks were delectable and had a fun holiday twist to them Overall, Il Fornaio is worth visiting for the ambiance and some hearty Italian food.

We absolutely love the Caesar salad and Margherita pizza at this place! The service is always consistently excellent.

Beautiful restaurant with delicious food. Dined here on a Saturday night with a group of 5 others. We had reservations, but the restaurant could have easily accommodated us without them as the restaurant was not crowded. Parking in the outdoor shopping center lot was also close and plentiful.We chose to dine outside on the patio. The weather was perfect. Aside from one couple, we had the patio to ourselves.The menu was filled with delicious Italian eats. There was something for everyone. As a vegetarian, I chose a pizza and had them alter it to my specifications. I've attached photos of everyone else's food, but can't quite remember specifically what they ordered. I do know that everyone found their choices to be to their liking especially the desserts (SPUMONE GELATO and the TORTA DI FORMAGGIO). I was told the CALAMARETTI FRITTI was also a favorite. Our food arrived in order (appetizers, entrees, desserts), in a timely manner, and was nicely plated. Portion sizes were on the larger side. Service was outstanding. Our server was super patient, friendly and helpful.The multi-user, gender specific restrooms were nicely decorated, clean and in good working condition.This is a great place for an intimate meal, as well as a gathering with a large group.

I work near this place, it's a great environment. Huge on the inside with a high ceiling and immaculate decor. The menu rotates and they offer lamb sometimes. Always call ahead to find out what's on the menu before getting there, don't only rely on the photos on yelp.

I took my mother out to this restaurant for my birthday, and it was a fantastic experience. Our server was exceptionally kind and went out of his way to find the specific whiskey my mom wanted to drink, which we really appreciated.The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and very clean. We had an open view of the kitchen, which was spotless and added to the charm of the dining experience.If you're looking for an Italian restaurant with delicious dishes and excellent service, I highly recommend this place. Parking was also a breeze, with plenty of available spaces.Overall, it was a 10/10 experience!

Wow awful service, awful quality. Will definitely not be returning. I typically attend the Woodland Hills location, excellent 10/10. I found out there was an ii fornaio 8 min from me so gave it a try. Absolutely not, I will happily make the drive to Woodland Hills for the immaculate service, taste and presentation. You see the difference in the photo between locations.

I've always like Il Fornaio and have been to the one in Irvine and Las Vegas numerous times. This time I ordered the chicken parmigiana with pasta. The chicken was dry and the outside coating was not crispy. Pasta was okay. This made me want to make my own chicken parmigiana at home as I think I can make a much better one. Price for the meal for 5 of us was over $300 as we had a couple of cocktails too. This was not worth the money. I would not return to this restaurant in El Segundo again. I might give the Irvine location another try to see if things have gone down hill.

Armando has great customer service always so attentive and polite my family and I come here about once a week Jose Servín also has great service and always gives my family and I great recommendations my family and I love coming here we always feel so welcomed Alberto always treats my daughter who is 2 years old with so much love and compassion with all the energy a 2 year old has the staff always shows her patients I love their food as well as their service I really appreciate the staff here Celia also always treats my daughter so well I think it's always a pleasant when your child is welcome and this restaurant does exactly that
