At this location in Huntington Beach They skimp on the meats any place that charges you for extra meat you know it's a Jip ! The Sandwiches have great flavor but after paying over $15 for a small sandwich you would expect they put some meat on it We'll never go here again Way overpriced for what you get

Today we visited this place and grabbed some lunch. Here's my review. We ordered 2 Matt Cain sandwiches. One on Sourdough and one on Dutch Crunch Bread.Both sandwiches had Turkey, Roast Beef and Salami and Provolone cheese as well as lettuce tomato and Godfather sauce.The sandwiches were good, the restaurant was clean and the staff was polite. 2 sandwiches and 1 large drink with tip came to $40.44 cents. Kinda pricey, we came, we ate and that was it.

Yeaaaas! Grand opening was today! The closest one is in Fountain Valley & I'm excited to have one closer in HB (Trader Joe's shopping center). Lines were crazy even hours before opening, my friends and I came after 6pm and there there was no line...woooohooo! $8 for an Ike sandwiches was such a deal! (For more deals, get the app!)Ikes's is not an ordinary sandwich spot! They have the best sandwiches ever. Vegan, vegetarian,& halal friendly! Their meatless "meats" are incredibly tasty (fried chicken is my fave.. Even the biggest meat eaters approve. The first time I tried Ike's back in San Francisco, I've been hooked. The sandwiches are HUGE, I usually only eat half the portion but it's sooo good I end up always eating it all Meatless protein options: vegan bulgogi, meatballs, turk'y, fried chick'n, chick'n, eggplant, artichokes, lots of cheese options, avocado..Of course, the sauces are a must:-Dirty sauce: garlic aioli with a secret blend of seasonings/spices-Godfather : horseradish garlic dijon-Yellow bbq- so good on the jaymeatless.Friendly staff/customer service at this location. Download the app to order ahead, and usually get busy during lunch so it comes in handy to order ahead.

Ike's is da beeeeestso many vegetarian options, amazing Dutch crunch bread, and overall very filling for the cost of the sandwich.Disclaimer though, the whole weather bread and gluten free bread are significantly smaller than the Dutch crunch bread, meaning you get less sandwich. So stick with the Dutch crunch and you'll be fine.

Went at 8:20 on Wednesday night. Hours posted on the website, on yelp and on the front door clearly say they're open till 9 PM. Doors were locked, and the two employees who were inside refused to even look up at us as we knocked on the door to get their attention. So we went back to the car and called them thinking maybe the door is locked because they're counting money or something, but they refused to answer the phone as well. We specifically made a trip over there because they were supposed to be open until nine but instead all we did was waste our time and get frustrated. Great way to disappoint potential customers and get bad reviews.
