First timer at this ihop location. Food: standard. everything tasted to our liking. we ordered 2 samplers, a kids smiley face pancake meal, and a 3 stack. Service: good. we were a party of 5 (4 adults) and seated right away during the Sunday brunch bustle. we had to ask for a few things, but they were provided timely. Ambiance: fine. still feels like a new + clean location.

I hadn't eaten at an ihop in years before this location opened. Once they opened, I decided to try them out. During their opening period, they were great! Food tasted and looked of good quality. Service was amazing! Waiters were so attentive and kind! It really felt like VIP service. But here we are however long since they've opened. No dish can be accommodated; waiters don't even try and ask management. This is a huge pet peeve of mine. If Beyonce or taylor swift asked for an accommodation, I'm sure it would be no problem. So treat everyone equally and with great service. This is exactly why Keith Lee has his squad order the food before he goes into the restaurant himself. He wants to see how the general population is treated. Here, the general population is told no when asking for substitutions. For example, my daughter refuses to eat eggs, so we'll ask for a fruit cup instead. It's always a no and then followed by an attitude because we ask if they'll ask management. Management sometimes will say yes, but not always. I also do not appreciate the subsequent attitude for asking. Additionally, afterward, the server rarely comes back around. We're lucky to get a refill on water because service doesn't check on us often enough. We've visited 20+ times so we've experienced the high and the decline. We've decided not to return.

What a sweet gem nestled in the Towne center! It was in the height of the Christmas season but everyone was so polite! We were cold so opted to sit on the patio in the sun by the large tree! The service was prompt and courteous as you expect from an IHOP! It was the perfect little stop during the hustle and bustle of the holiday rush!

First time here in this new branch. Service was quick we ordered the impossible plant based sausage power combo it came with scrambled egg whites fresh fruit and 2 protein pancakes and my wife ordered the T- bone steak dinner this came with your choice of sides: steamed broccoli with garlic bread or the butter milk pancakes or green beans with garlic butter , side salad or red skin potatoes the atmosphere was quite customers keep to themselves. Our orders came out quick. The steak didn't have and grilled lines and was so thin; my sausages looked like it just came out of the microwave. The food is ok but maybe could be little better if they improved on their presentation and their cooking technique.

Breakfast for dinner! One night, after finishing some errands near here, I was hungry for dinner and craving breakfast food. Everyone knows IHOP serves breakfast all day so I went to this location at Towne Center. The oblong interior impressed me by how immaculate it is.Service was very friendly and attentive, along with a little jovial conversation, throughout my meal. I ordered the 2x2x2 - 2 eggs (scrambled), 2 pieces of breakfast meat (sausage) and 2 big pancakes. I also ordered a hot chocolate.The breakfast was solid and good, nothing special but everything done well. The hot chocolate was enormous and excellent; I can't believe I've never ordered one at IHOP before but I will from now on. They give free refills!

Went back for a second try with a coupon incentive.... unfortunately no success. The server was friendly but doesn't make up for the ants at our table that we didn't see until we grabbed the syrup dispenser and saw things moving. We reported to server, relocated to another table, ate n left. Hopefully this location can turn it around or it may not make it in Cerritos.

Our family had a reunion over the weekend and decided we wanted to meet for breakfast before everyone went their own way. We saw there was an ihop across the street from our hotel and called them at 8:00 in the morning to see if they could accommodate 21 of us...10 children and 11 adults. The manager, Taylor, and our server were fabulous. They set us all up on the patio, were friendly, very efficient, took care of our last minute needs with a smile and true hospitality. Thank you Taylor, Oscar who answered the phone, and our wonderful server who made our reunion that much more special. Next time we're in Cerritos we will definitely go to ihop.

This is hands-down the best IHOP, as it has plenty of outdoor seating and is in the Cerritos Towne Center, so it's on a promenade where you don't feel like you are eating outdoors facing a parking lot. And don't get me wrong, there's plenty of parking. IHOP keeps evolving their menu, so they stay relevant with items like protein pancakes and avocado toast for the millennials. LOL. But hey, it's solid, good food. Also, they have their unless pot of coffee, so I love it that they leave the insulated pot there, which saves the server time and makes it hassle free for me to warm up my coffee cup on-demand. Hey, I can serve myself on that count. Win-win and it would be great if more places just left the pot at the table. We have been back and will keep coming back.

Fries were way too salty. This is a common problem with restaurants. They should ask if we want salt. If so, how much? Light or regularBut even if we had said no salt, I'm pretty sure it would have been salty because we asked for no ranch sauce in our chicken sandwiches and they brought it soaked in ranch. The server asked us if we wanted it taken back to be done right but come on. That's when you're taking a chance they might do something to your food right? It happens. It shouldn't be up to us. If you knew the order was wrong, take it back and have them prepare it correctly. But lately, my food orders have been incorrectly prepared almost everywhere. Its like an epidemic of wrong order taking
