Pretty decent food for a hotel. Lots of different snack options besides what's on the menu

There was a credit to use for food here at the Hyatt so I went to their market cafe for breakfast. Service was faster than expected and they gave us a lot of breakfast potatoes! A breakfast plate is good for sharing is someone else wants potatoes and you don't. They refused to cook eggs a la carte so that is a bit of a bummer. You have to order a whole plate with the potatoes and stuff.

This spot is located in the lobby of Hyatt Regency in Long Beach. The food here is surprisingly good. I had a cobb salad, and my friend ordered a grilled cheese. The salad was a good amount and the grilled cheese was made well too.Seating in the area is usually pretty easy to find.Beer/alcohol available to drink there or bring to your room.

Even with machines doing all the work, they can't make a good cup of coffee or cappuccino. The breakfast pizza is greasy bread with melted cheese stacked in a to-go box with a fried egg on top. The chocolate croissant is doughy and not flaky puff pastry. If you are staying at the hotel, it's good for a late snack. Otherwise avoid. Even if it's free.

Hyatt Market Cafe is located inside the Hyatt Regency hotel. Currently, the cafe is open daily from 6 AM to 10 PM. Their breakfast menu lists foods such as a burrito, croissant sandwich, breakfast pizza, panini, and avocado toast. Their lunch menu lists chicken tenders, burger, brisket sandwich, chicken panini, BBQ pulled pork sandwich, cobb salad, pizzas, bowls, some sides, etcetera. I ate breakfast at this restaurant because of its convenient location. I ordered a Belgian waffle ($13) that came with berries and whipped cream. I would have preferred to receive a larger amount of berries and whipped cream. In addition, I had to ask for syrup. My husband ordered the lox and bagel ($17) that came topped with a generous amount of salmon as well as some egg, pickled red onions, and arugula. He had to ask an employee for the cream cheese. We also bought an unripe banana that was difficult to peel for $3 and two bottled waters for $3 each.

Richard is the rudest guy ever I asked for food at 11 pm and told me they were closed but at 11:30 some other people came up and asked for food and still served them. I want to say it's racial profiling I am Mexican and the other people after me where American, he not only served one but 3 others after me that where American, I sat in the lobby watching because I had to door dash my own food because he declined my service. He is the rudest person I've ever met! Super racist!

Thought you couldn't screw up a club sandwich. First off, there were maybe two slices of turkey in the sandwich. Second, the entire thing was assembled and then prepared in a panini press, veggies and all. Hot lettuce is not good.

This is a cafeteria in the lobby of the Hyatt Regency Long Beach. After a long day of travel, I decided to pick up a teriyaki chicken bowl. I was very pleased with the quality of the food and service The menu is varied enough and offers a good variety of sandwiches and bowls.

We wanted to try the cafe downstairs because we really didn't want to leave the hotel so early in the morning.Beautifully displayed food, which I forgot to take pictures of.Ordered:2 avocado toasts1 breakfast burrito 1 vanilla latte1 Starbucks cold vanilla coffeeEmployees were very friendly and fast with service. We sat at table looking out towards the harbor. Food comes in containers already so if you didn't finish, I'm guessing you can bring the leftovers back to your room.I would've given one more star, but my son said that the bacon tasted funny like it was spoiled. I returned it and the employee gave me two breakfast sandwiches in exchange. The replacement was good, but the bad taste of bacon was still bothering him. However, I do recommend the avocado toast. It comes with a fried eggs on top. I usually remove the cooked onions, but surprisingly it was sweet and complimented the egg. The cost is a bit pricey, but anything at a hotel is usually more expensive.Nice alternative instead of going out.

This market has all the basic food items one could need- snacks, hot meals, grab and go, and desserts. Their pizzas are really good and easy for a quick to make meal. I've been at the hotel for a conference and this market saved me for dinner items two nights in a row. My only comment is that made-to-order items are pretty pricey for what you get, but it is a hotel.
