HT Grill

I just read my review two years ago and am happy to update! My Mom and I had dinner here on Monday and was blessed to have Kai as our server (he usually bartends). What a treat! We are a restaurant family and are very aware of service, the temperature of food when it hits the table, etc. From every aspect, HT Grill was excellent, but the service Kai provided was beyond exemplary! (Apologies if his name is misspelled!) He asked and remembered our names, spent just enough time to chat (without hurting the service of other tables), checked on us at appropriate times (including asking if the temp of my steak was what I had hoped) and made sure we had what we needed throughout the meal. His timing was impeccable and charisma was stellar. The food was on point. We started with calamari and shrimp and the cauliflower appetizer. Delicious!! I had steak and lobster and both were cooked very well. Mom had the salmon and was very pleased with it. We were stuffed so we skipped dessert, but are looking forward to a return visit soon. I would be remiss if I didn't mention we also met Nick, the manager. Really nice man and also charismatic. What a great experience!!!

The food was good. Turkey wasn't dry, mashed taters were excellent. They served cubed sweet potatoes with a hint of cinnamon. Very nice and not sickly sweet. The cranberry/orange sauce was delicious. The stuffing/dressing was weird. Not sure what it was but I didn't care for it. The green beans and zucchini were grilled I think and had a very fresh flavor. Our server was Ian and he was charming. We asked for our pumpkin pie to go and it had no whipped cream. Next time I will ask to be seated in either the main restaurant or outside as the room we dined in was extremely loud. Of course the place was hoppin so maybe it's not usually that noisy. I would do it again.

Overrated, Expensive and a weak excuse for a filet steak. We had a birthday party of eight, service was acceptable. One of our party had short ribs, when he was asked about his, the reply was just O.K. translation mediocre. I ordered my filet I requested medium rare when it arrived it was cut in half. What happened did the fry cook in the kitchen didn't know how to prepare a proper steak without dissecting it ?The filet was tough as well, probably frozen meat, wonderful. When I brought this to the attention of our server she inquired if I wanted a replacement, I declined. As long as it took to get our food I didn't want to wait until the following morning to receive another steak. There are better restaurants in the village to get a decent piece of meat, this isn't one of them. We were surprised to see this place as crowded as it was considering the fare. When in Hollywood Riveria remain Feral and enjoy steak somewhere else.

Best place for complimentary birthday dinner! Prefixed meal available every Monday with great wine pairing option! Service is always great Everytime. Enjoy a drink by the fire pit or live music inside. Great lighting and seating with plenty of space between tables.

they had really good service and like really good foodIt was nice and calm not a lot of people there. Highly recommended.

I met a friend for dinner at HT Grill. We were seated at the patio which was great. I enjoyed my dinner. Food was good enough. It think they could improve.

Forgettable experience tonight. Hope it's a lot better next time.A nice greeting by the hostess followed by the most atrocious and inattentive service I've ever experienced at this restaurant. I won't mention any names.I've dined here many times. Some times were really really great. A few other times were terrible. But nothing was as insulting and awful as the dinner we had this evening. The hostess brought us menus and water. We were in the mood for wine but the waiter came over asking, "Are you ready to order?," assuming we didn't want drinks. I ordered the French Onion Soup, as an appetizer, since it's one of my favorite appetizers there (trust me, it's very special). My guest was still thinking about his order and said, "I'll let you know when you bring his soup." About 10 minutes later the waiter returned and asked, "Can I get you anything else?" Pretty dumb question since he had brought nothing. My guest ordered calamari for an appetizer and i ordered the Wagyu burger as my entree. Ten minutes later my guest's appetizer came and I asked about my soup and said, "Please bring me my soup and don't bring my main course until I finish the soup."Ten minutes later the waiter brought my burger. He never brought the soup. Remember that I asked him 2-3 times about the soup. So I asked him what happened to my soup and he said,"Oh, did you order soup?", to wish I replied "yes" and I asked for the manager.The manager came to our table and I let her know about how the dinner was going. She offered to give me soup to go!! French Onion soup to go to eat the next day - give me a break. I told her I didn't want anything except to let her know about the problem. She replied, "Is that all."As for the burger, it came on a bun so hard and possibly stale I could have stood a table full of utensils in it and they would have stood up. I mentioned that to the manager and she ignored what I told her. I like this restaurant. It's too bad a decent meal was ruined by bad service. I don't believe I'm asking for too much, especially at a nice restaurant like H.T, Grill.

Saturday Night - We had a private room - set menu - but we could order from the regular menu if we wished. The room was spacious enough to sit comfortably- 18 people. The food was amazingly delicious!!! The ambiance was delightful and it felt warm. The outside patio seemed cozy with a giant fire pit. The surrounding landscape gave a feel of a village. Walking distance to the beach. Definitely worth the visit and 5 stars.

5/5 for us. We shared a bottle of wine, beet buratta salad and seared scallops. Service was great. Ambiance was great. Would definitely come again for a date night

Went there on February 21, for my husband's birthday. Surf and turf was amazing! Had good service. Notice that the staff was paying particular attention to setting up the tables and making sure the wine glasses had no spots on them. Spoke with Nick, the manager, and let him know that it looks like everything was running very nicely in the restaurant. Had a nice experience!
