Hotpot Top-T OH!

Craving hot pot, so I went looking for some. TLDR at the end. Some tips and things to look out for:-No rice/ramen included-No utensils or straw -Website food description is misleading -Sauce must be purchased as an extra-The phone number doesn't work What was included-Japanese miso chicken pot-tomato beef pot and ramen (ordered ramen on the side) -Two milk teas (free)I only tested a little of the miso and the chicken, and I thought it was good! However, my pot, which was the tomato beef, I believe that the broth was too tart. The best thing from my pot was the amount of meat, the tendon pieces, as well as the milk tea, which is free for a limited time. I want to highlight that I asked for sauce, but wasn't able to get it. Maybe I misunderstood, but in the picture I included, it says that specialty sauce is included with rice or ramen, so we purchased ramen to get the sauce. We also didn't get rice or ramen as filler, just the pots themselves (of course I paid extra to get my own). I'm confused as to what is included, like do you pay for the sauce and get rice/noodles? Is the rice/noodles included? I would have called to confirm and ask for more clarifying questions, but their number wasn't working either! I'm a little disappointed with this experience. I had been craving hot pot for a year since the pandemic started and finally got desperate enough to try it through delivery. I was so excited to try Top-T Oh since the reviews were great but I was very disappointed. I got the spicy mala beef hot pot and while the spice level was good the broth was soooo soooo salty. And I normally eat on the salty side. I had to add a whole cup of water for the broth to be bearable but still the ingredients had absorbed so much salt I couldn't eat them. The only thing I could eat and enjoy was the quail eggs since they didn't absorb the salt so I basically paid $20 for three quail eggs. Another thing I really disliked was the size of the ingredients in the soup. There was a half a corn on the cob in it and fishing out a slippery corn cob from a bowl of hot greasy red soup was not fun. It was messy and inconvenient. They should just use baby corn. The beef slices were huge too, and while I see that could be them being generous and some people might love it, i prefer bite size pieces since I don't want to have to bust out a knife and fork to eat soup. I guess I should've ate it like a cajun crab boil with a bib and latex gloves on and wax paper on the table. Then the corn on the cob would've made sense at least. With the saltiness of the broth and the messiness of the ingredients, I ended up fussing around with the food for about 20 minutes and decided to quit. The whole bowl has been.sitting in my fridge for a week uneaten and I planned to try to salvage it but any time I think of it my tongue shudders. I'm probably gonna have to throw it out. The only reason I gave two stars instead of one is because I could see that if it hadn't been so salty the flavor might have been good. Maybe they spilled the salt this one time or something..? Also I appreciated the free thai tea.

Spicy Beef Hot Pot cost me $25.99 for a single serving, on top of delivery fees it came out to be $33.50 (excluding tip). Flavor was on point, but I don't think this meal was worth over $30 for a single serving!

OH! This food is EXACTLY what I am looking for in hot pot. I'm not sure about the other reviews, but OH! I was missing my SF Sichuan/Hot Pot fix and HOLEY Moley! I truly admire the chef/owner taking the time to square things away with the pricing. It's tough right now for ANYONE to deal with the technology especially a new company, ESPECIALLY a new restaurant. The food though is the most important thing. The Spicy Beef... ohhhh. I can't get it out of my mind!I'm ordering now, again! Sometimes you just gotta get your fix! I

Incredibly salty Mala! Please taste your own broth before serving. I dare you to try and finish a bowl. No way you can call this healthy. Could not eat and all the ingredients absorbed the salt. The beef and corn should be cut in half. The beef is not tender so couldn't even take small bites. I'm actually feeling sick just thinking about it. Also, why isn't sauce and rice included in the set? What makes it a set? You charge $2.65 for the sauce when it should be included along with the rice per your website? How much is rice? You guys have poor business practices and it clearly shows.

I have only found out about this place after seeing it on DoorDash 2 weeks ago and have probably ordered it 4 times since then! The quality and everything that is included is always good and still hot even when being delivered. There was only one instance when my food and drink spilled but that could be due to poor handling by the delivery driver. I've tried both the beef and mushroom hot pots with the miso and the spicy broth they have. Very yummy and I will definitely continue to order from this place! Ive also ordered some for my family and they thought it was great too!

I was searching for hot pot and I was so excited when I found this place. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the food. It was okay; not very flavorful. The worst part of it alI was that I got food poisoning. I ended up sick all night. I would definitely not recommend.

They charge you $20 for cheap cup of noodle ramen and some soggy frozen vegetables and frozen meat/seafood. This is NOT hot pot. They put everything in a bowl and pour the hot liquid inside so you can't tell its frozen.I should've ordered pho instead -_-.Oh and my tea came without boba too. I ordered this to satisfy my hot pot craving. I should have waited. For $20 i get all you cam eat of fresh veggies and seafood P.S this is not a restaurant its one of those mass kitchens.

I decided to try this place last night. I got two beef sets, one with tonkotsu and one with spicy mala broth and a side of pho noodles. Whole Lee Shit. So good. So spice. The tonkotsu was extremely comforting, but not too heavy. Veggies were so fresh, I have no idea what that other review was talking about. The beef was pretty good, thin tender slices as you'd expect.I had never had mala before so I don't have anything to compare it to but it was both spicy and flavorful, what more could you want? The mouth numbing spice was pretty fun. Again, mushrooms and veggies were fresh and delicious. I think next time I'll get chicken with this though. The free milk tea was a god send to help cut the spice. It was very much appreciated. Overall it was exactly what I was looking for, spicy, comforting broths with meats, veggies and noodles. I strongly recommend giving this place a shot if you're looking for some hot pot.

This is the second time we've ordered from them. Both times, the food was absolutely delicious. I tried the seafood hot pot today and it was fantastic. I am a sucker for shellfish, and was so happy to see whole shrimps, and everything still in their shells. I had this with the herbal broth and ramen. My boyfriend got the chicken with miso broth and was very happy. The first time we ordered from here, there was a lot of broth out of the containers in the bags (securely in the bags, to be fair- we didn't lose any of it and were able to dump it back in)This time only one of our containers had this problem, and it was minimal. We were really happy to see that they improved it, and the truth is, it's so tasty we'll keep ordering from here regardless.Also the milk tea is really nice.
