Est. 1946-Old school, classic 'greasy spoon' diner. Even though Hot 'N' Tot has been remodeled over the years, it still has that classic feel, complete with a 12 seat counter, green leather stools, ceiling fans and brown booths.I came in for some coffee and a quick bite. I ordered the Gobbler Omelet, with turkey, bacon tomato and avocado, served with home fries and toast. It was very tasty and the coffee was good, but the star of the meal was the home-made salsa. Holy smoke that stuff is good. I wish I could buy a jar of it to take home. The service was also friendly and they have a lot of regulars here. I felt a good neighborhood vibe. If I lived in the area, I would definitely be a regular.Good food and good vibes being served up at Hot N Tot.

LOVE THIS LOCAL BREAKFAST JOINT. I crave the barnyard omelette from time to time. It tastes like a breakfast pot pie. The hash browns are always crispy on the outside and they have tons of options for whatever you're feeling that day. It's never too hard to get a table here, at least in my experience. And it's pretty affordable based on their serving sizes. They have a big parking lot in the back and there's a plaza less than a mile from this place with shopping / entertainment to walk off the food.

This place has been here FOREVER. It's a great mom and pop type diner that my wife and I haven't been to in quite some time. But I'm happy to say it's still got great service (the waitress who helped us today was super friendly) and excellent food. If you're a hash brown fan, you can't skip on these. I got the Belgian waffle combo and it was solid. Good food portion too. Worth noting - we came at 8:20ish in the morning and there was no wait, although plenty of people seated/ eating inside already. Around 9:30 it was definitely busier where people were waiting in the front. All in all, if you're looking for a good breakfast diner, this is it. There's a reason why this place has been around for so long.

Great breakfast spot. I recommend the chicken fried steak & eggs, spinach supreme omelette and oatmeal pancakes. If you like crispy hash browns then you'll love theirs. Fyi, your hair and clothes will smell like grease afterwards :/

Hubbers and I always make it a point to treat ourselves after dropping of recyclables a couple of miles down. With Mom in tow, we let her decide what kinda eats to have. "Chicken Fried Steak." was her response. We all also wanted to try something new. While I was behind the wheel, Hubbers was throwing out places for he kind of eats Mom wanted. We all collectively decided to come here . And this place is poppin'! There was a crowd already waiting and we sorta had 2nd thoughts about staying because we were starving! Got my name on the list and played the waiting game. It took no time at all: we were (literally) seated less than minutes later. (Will elaborate on this later.) Mom called an audible on her original grub soon as she saw the steak and egg breakfast option. I went for her original eats (since that's the first thing I ever order on a first time diner visit) and Hubbers went with the pancake combo. This place truly has an old skool diner vibe. I think the single seats facing the kitchen are still the original ones they placed 40 or so years ago. We were entertained by looking at old pictures and relics placed all over their walls. There's a lot of history here! Our food came though not so long after. Mom's steak was cooked a perfect medium, Hubbers pancakes were fluffy and bacon was crispy, and my chicken fried steak was perfect. The gravy was a good consistency (not too thick or watery), the steak's batter was thin and crispy and both were seasoned well. I didn't need to add anything else. Over-easy eggs were cooked perfect as well. There was absolutely nothing wrong with this plate! FOOD: 5. SERVICE: 5+! Every staff member hustled. When a table becomes available, it only took a few seconds before someone was cleaning it up for the next set of customers. And it's not like a lazy cleaning kinda thing - table was really cleaned before putting the table settings. No wonder people get seated quickly. Our drinks were refilled without having to be asked and they made sure we had everything we needed. I got a good look at the kitchen staff and every person in there didn't stop moving - it was like watching a kitchen dance choreography, they all work well together! VALUE: 5. Worth every penny! PARKING: Private lot. Not an issue. OVERALL: 5. That was a great first run. Nowhere near home but we all agreed we're willing to make the drive to eat here again! (Most likely after the next recycling run!) And looking forward to it!

YES! I wish I could give them a 15/10! Local gem for a killer breakfast to start your day! Coffee, orange juice and omelettes are 10/10! Oh and their customer service is like Disneyland regardless on how busy they are! To go? Still same quality and volume of food so either you eat in or take out you'll definitely will not be disappointed! Happy breakfasting! Lol

It's a solid 4 star place to grab some delicious breakfast. The menu is huge and the service was great. Our coffee cups never left emptied. I enjoyed my steak and eggs that came with hashbrown and sourdough bread. The loco Moco was so delicious as well. Will definitely return

Place is still solid for breakfast with excellent fresh squeezed OJ but they used to have the best hash browns and no longer do. They are pedestrian at best now. And a side rode costs like $6.50. Unacceptable.
