The Cream Top Coffee is a total game-changer! I love the cream - super smooth and adds the perfect richness to each sip. If you're a fan of creamy drinks, you've got to give this a try!Matcha Ube Latte is good! Wish the matcha taste was little stronger(I heard the Sweet Corn Latte is good too! Gotta come back to try it)Staff are nice and friendly. May struggle to find parking tho

TL;DR - solid latte, would come back if i was in the areaDRINK/FOOD:*homeboy latte (w/o cayenne) - this was basically a honey oat latte and it was solid! good balance of sweetness and the espresso coming through. not out of this world amazing but thought it was p good. would get this again. 4/5*chocolate chip cookie - i had high hopes for this bc it looked so good. the chocolate inside was on the darker side which i liked but for some reason, it had a weird aftertaste on it. maybe bc of the plastic film on it? either way, it wasn't a fav. 2/5SERVICE: cashier was friendly and gave great recs! 5/5PRICE: it was around $13-14 total with the latte and cookie. the latte by itself was right around $7 which is a little pricey but the standard price you can find at other cafes today. the cookie on the other hand wasn't a fav of mine so didn't think it was worth the price. 3.5/5

This is THE coffee shop of Artesia/Cerritos. I live in OC, but whenever I'm in the area and want a coffee this is the place I go to. Their signature homeboy latte is delicious, perfect amount of sweetness/creaminess. They also have an amazing selection of different types of matcha. My personal favorite are the strawberry, cinnamon maple, and mango matcha. You can't go wrong with any of them. The staff are always super friendly and greet you as you walk through the door. You can tell they all have a passion for what they do and it shines through in their drinks. They have a nice pastry selection, especially if you come early morning that's when they're stocked. My only complaint might be the seating. They have the standard wood, coffee shop seating. It's probably not the most comfortable if you're going here to study/stay for a long time. Don't let that stop you from coming here though because this place is a must try.

Seeking a new coffee spot, I discovered a charming café through a Yelp search. While browsing reviews, one stood out--a disgruntled customer complaining about overcrowding and subpar coffee. However, we all have different tastes, and I appreciate honest feedback to improve service.Upon entering, I wasn't immediately greeted; there were about seven or eight customers, all seemingly engrossed in their own activities. The atmosphere wasn't unfriendly, just busy.I started with the dessert, a strawberry croissant. Warm and gooey, it was intensely sweet--perfect for those who enjoy a strawberry crumble-like texture. I ultimately couldn't finish it, not because it was inedible, but simply too sugary for my preference. I also tried the Homeboy Latte. Its initial taste was unusual, but after reading that it requires aging to develop its full flavor, I understood the acquired taste. It was still enjoyable. The music, aesthetic décor, and overall space all earned four stars. It did get quite crowded around 11 a.m.I'll definitely return.

Homeboy coffee is an aesthetic little cafe with a cozy, modern vibe.My mom and I visited their location before but I just forgot to leave a review, so they're getting one now since I got the chance to visit again! I ordered their hot vanilla latte and craffle. Croffle? (Croissant waffle).Their front register folks are super sweet and always really chill! I know I can be aloof when ordering things, but they typically either joke back or are super patient when I'm flip flopping between choices (I know, super annoying, I'm sorry!! T - T )Their croffles are SUPER yummy! They retoast them so they're nice and warm; crispy on the outside and super buttery and chewy on the inside. I personally prefer their iced coffee to their hot coffees, but since I have a sore throat I figured something warm would be better hehe.Their parking lot can be a little crowded, so I think that's the most annoying part. They do have a good amount of seating, but it was pretty filled when I visited today. There is a middle section that looks like a seating section, but I didn't notice anyone sitting there so I can't be 100% sure. All in all a lovely spot :) Give them a shot when you're in the area!

White coconut tea $5 5/5!Added in one stevia, and it is very flavorful. Coconut def apparent and finishes with the floral notes of cornflower + safflower. pretzel croissant $5 4/5Ask for it toasted! Sesame seeds and maltiness of the pretzel when it's warm really play well together. ServiceThe barista saw me adding my stevia to my drink on the side, and asked me if I wanted her to mix it - so sweet of her! It is a good morning.Parking lot sucks, full af at 10:30am on weekday with one spot left

Came here for the first time after craving a cream top. The cold brew itself wasn't my favorite, but the cream top was great. The place itself has ample seating and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful with questions. They also have really cute merch for sale next to the register. I hung out for a bit to drink my coffee and journal before I had to go. For it being dark out at 6pm, there was a decent amount of people there, both inside and out.

I was looking for a coffee shop nearby and this place popped up on Yelp. It's a modern coffee shop with Bauhaus decor. They offer unique drinks like Ube Matcha Latte and Sweet Corn Cream Latte. The staff is friendly and they work fast. This place gets really busy, but this team is top notch knocking out all the online orders and walk-in orders in a timely matter. I ordered the Cereal Latte which has vanilla, honey and cinnamon, which reminded me of a cinnamon toast crunch but in drink form. The Barista stepped up his game with this Pegasus foam artwork and that was very impressive, especially since there were a lot of customers. I will definitely be coming back here.

Cutely decorated! Got here at 10:15 AM on a Sunday and waited 15 minutes for my drink. The place was quite packed, but there were people coming in and out the whole time/decent amount of seating so we were able to snag seats. I liked my ube matcha, to me it was heavier on the ube flavor and lighter on the matcha. Would drop by again if I'm in the area. Private lot parking.
