Amazing experience I had with Ramen Santouka located within Mitsuwa. I have been to Mitsuwa many times before, trying many of the restaurants located within but have never tried this place before. The service was very good, with welcoming staff providing attentiveness to us when needed. The ambiance around the restaurant and Mitsuwa itself is very great. Lots of options to choose for food and drinks. This location has plenty of seating with different table sizes for a variety of party sizes. For my food, I ordered the miso ramen with a flavored egg as well as a char siu rice bowl. Both were very delicious. The miso ramen tasted delicious, not too sweet but a great taste. The meat inside was very delicious, perfectly cooked, nothing to complain about it. Same with the noodles, perfectly cooked. There was nothing bad about the miso bowl. The char siu bowl was great as well. The rice was perfectly cooked and tasted wonderful. The char siu itself was very tasty and a perfect texture. If you're in Mitsuwa at Del Amo Mall, I strongly recommend Ramen Santouka.

I got the large combo B #69 miso ramen large with the salmon & ikura rice bowl. The miso ramen was pretty good; broth had a good flavor. I got a lot of noodles and the char siu was tender/flavorful. I wish the egg was a runny egg like typical ramen eggs but it was fully cooked. The salmon & ikura rice bowl was just alright. Salmon was a little dry. It would be great if the salmon was like sashimi. Overall a good meal and I would come back cause there's a lot of other options on the menu.

I got a combo: 1 bowl of ramen, 1 bowl of rice and nato, 1 soy sauce egg. The ramen is decent and classic, nothing crazy. I love their nato rice. Overall a good value meal.

My boyfriend enjoyed this place, he said he liked the broth, the noodles, and the pork. I don't get it, we have very different expectations in Ramen. It was too oily, didn't have an egg, and the pork really icked me out - way too fatty and greasy for my liking, I ended up giving it to him. So, not sure how two people who tend enjoy the same things (including many Ramen dates) could have such vastly different experiences at the same time. It was a busy Friday night (Valentine's day) and we had a pretty long wait. The ambiance is casual as it's located in the Mitsuwa Marketplace, plenty of tables and chairs with an open cafeteria style vibe and other restaurants.

I was going to give it 5 stars but there were a few thing missing from the last time I came here years ago when they first opened at this location. However the ramen and flavor is still there. I still love my Santouka

My friends and I stopped by to get some food at the Mitsuwa food court earlier today, Sat, August 3rd at around 3:00 PM for a late lunch. My husband and I ordered:Medium Spicy Miso Ramen $14.80 including tax price as of August 2024- The bowl included 2 pieces of chashu pork, mushroom ear, green onions, black fungus, bamboo shoots, chewy ramen in a rich spicy miso soup.- The soup was tasty and rich/fatty in flavor, and wasn't too spicy. - The noodles were all dente and I liked the texture in addition to the bamboo shoots and black fungus.- The chashu was a little on the dry side and I wish the dish automatically included an egg (nope it's extra). - The size is relatively small compared to other ramen size bowls so the price is definitely steeper. This medium was already pretty tiny so I'm not even sure how small a small is lol. - My husband and I shared this bowl but only because we had also bought poke from another restaurant. Seating:Indoor and outdoor food court seating available. Overall, I'll prob be back the next time I'm back in the area!

The toroniku ramen (pork cheek meat) was very tasty. This was my first time having pork cheek and it was good. The ramen broth itself though was lacking a bit flavor but also some may prefer this being lighter. The noodles are also just okay. Service was fast and quick.

I know I shouldn't keep my expectations too high and my review too harsh because, at the end of the day, this is more or less a food court ramen place if anything, but my friend and I can't help but to feel like ~$20 for the ramen combo that we got was NOT worth it and we could have used that $20 for other dining options in the same food court or traveled a bit out of the mall's radius to get better ramen for that same price. We got the Spicy Miso Combo, regular sized with the mentaiko egg salad rice bowl, and a soy sauce seasoned hard boiled egg. As my friend was discussing with me, a big red flag with a ramen place is if their egg is a hard boiled egg instead of those poached/soft boiled egg (alright if the place has multiple options available). The soy sauce seasoned egg here is definitely hard boiled, but once again, food court ramen. The disappointing thing is that the ramen wasn't even the best part of our order. I can easily say that I enjoyed the mentaiko egg salad rice bowl much more than the ramen. It was unique, flavorful and came with a decent helping of creamy, not too sour egg salad (lots of egg white and the yellow yolk parts) that was paired nicely with the saltiness and texture of the mentaiko cod roe. For the ramen itself, the size of the bowl was pretty small. Although we did order the small/regular size, I'm saying it's pretty small for $20! A couple chopsticks full of noodles to be honest. It had 1 piece of chashu, some menma, a small bushel of kikurage wood ear mushrooms, chopped green onions, and some sesame seeds. The broth was decent enough, a nice richness and had some spice to it (not spicy at all, everything considered). Our biggest gripe were the noodles. Honestly just tasted like Chinese egg noodles to me. Very doughy taste and texture to it that didn't really go well with the broth. Don't get me wrong, I love me a good egg noodle, but definitely not for a ramen. Maybe this is how the homies do it in Hokkaido? Either way this stop is a skip for me in Mitsuwa marketplace.

Please don't go hereMy friend and I ordered the miso ramen and threw up once we got home, felt dizzy and had headache all day. The pork had so much fat, the noodles felt like maruchan, the miso was too oily. The lady at the front wanted to charge us .55 cents for chili oil! We want our money back.
